- T Minus 1 day left in the WI inland trout season! Spent a few hours before sunrise here on a small stream. Fish are present and it was a beautiful evening. In the closing I have some awesome pictures of the aurora borealis from a few days ago. 2024 is nearly in the books!! Happy Fishing!!!

After watching your October trout fishing, I hope that the DNR changes the closing date of inland trout fishing back to end of September so the trout can spawn without being disturbed.
@@davidstakston1950 I have not seen spawning fish this season, but some years I have. I agree with your position regardless if I see it or not. Probably though, angling drops off in Oct even with the season ending Oct 15. I haven't seen other anglers in months.
