Hi Candus. I have a long list of Deleted Transfers from my lack of understanding of the process after our business started using Square. The 80 day hold with several large transfera and many (!) transactions to account for really threw me off. I've been slowly discovering and correcting each transaction and deleted many Transfers in my learning process because they duplicated the Deposits. Now I have multiple Voided Transfers in my discrepancy report. Can I use this Clean Up process for these Voided Transfers at this point? Also, I think I need your How to Unreconcile video and also a definitive procedure for how to treat the increaseing incoming Square transactions without creating duplicate Deposits and Transfers.

we just migrated from desktop version to online and seems all our reconciliations are off. this might stop us from continuing with online and just start at beginning of our fiscal year (in 6 months) and enter the ending balances from prior fiscal year end.

Hi Candus, I can't seem to find any videos that address specifically "If a transaction was reconciled in the register....". I only see video for transactions that are "Unreconciled, or Deleted" Any advice on this specific type of discrepancy? I viewed the history and all the accounts involved and I don't see how to fix this .. I even tried re-reconciling that transaction in the registry to see if it will update QBO but that does not work... I'm at a lost...

Hi Candus. I have a long list of Deleted Transfers from my lack of understanding of the process after our business started using Square. The 80 day hold with several large transfera and many (!) transactions to account for really threw me off. I've been slowly discovering and correcting each transaction and deleted many Transfers in my learning process because they duplicated the Deposits. Now I have multiple Voided Transfers in my discrepancy report. Can I use this Clean Up process for these Voided Transfers at this point?
Also, I think I need your How to Unreconcile video and also a definitive procedure for how to treat the increaseing incoming Square transactions without creating duplicate Deposits and Transfers.

we just migrated from desktop version to online and seems all our reconciliations are off. this might stop us from continuing with online and just start at beginning of our fiscal year (in 6 months) and enter the ending balances from prior fiscal year end.

What about if the discrepancy says 'amount was changed'?
It will all depend if your beginning balance is off and if the transaction is marked as reconciled in your register.

Hi Candus, I can't seem to find any videos that address specifically "If a transaction was reconciled in the register....". I only see video for transactions that are "Unreconciled, or Deleted" Any advice on this specific type of discrepancy? I viewed the history and all the accounts involved and I don't see how to fix this .. I even tried re-reconciling that transaction in the registry to see if it will update QBO but that does not work... I'm at a lost...
