You are my favorite jazz artist. Always something so hip and cool sounding. Best demos on the web. Thanks

Is Teds Byrdland same year as yours? ua-cam.com/video/PxKjcIU6fo0/v-deo.html How can I get that bass crunch at the very end of Teds video? What amplifier, etc. Thanks

Teds Byrdland also has a Florentine cutaway, so at least I can tell you that it must be from the 1960s. I don't know which year exactly... Apparantly Ted has a few more of these guitars, he surely might have a 1962 model, too. From 1960 until 1968 the Byrdland model was produced with a Florentine cutaway. Before and after that Byrdlands had a round Venetian cutaway. To get his heavily distorted sound with lots of low end you could try a Marshall tube amp head with a 4x12" cabinet.

Peter Schilmöller Ted has 23 Byrdlands I've played several of them but number 15 is a 63' that has the same burst as this one such a wonderful instrument to play.
