I can’t express how much I love that show. I am very close to my little sister and everything between Sam and Dean, the good and the bad, was always so so close to my own feelings. It was so strange, so disturbing sometimes to see what you love and fear being displayed so rightfully on screen. First seasons will always be my favs… but, this is mostly because of the amazing cinematography and incredible storytelling.
What follows is only my point of view and very personal. You don’t have to agree with it.
As much as I cherish the relationship between Sam and Dean in the first seasons, I think their relationship became healthiest in the last seasons. I just loved to see them let other people came into their life… and once again I am projecting, but, as much as I love my sister, and spend time alone with her, I think those moments are great because we also have a life outside of this relationship, because we have friends in common, things we love…. And when we are with our other friends, spending night with them laughing, those are are the best moments. Maybe it is because I loved the idea of a big found family. Because it is kind of my dream.
But sincerely I wasn’t thinking that supernatural was going to take that path, and I wasn’t asking it to but… I think it’s what it has become. And it felt good.
