HP increase = 12% give or take. It is Not only the Pipes. in order to obtain the HP increase you must change the Stock air filter. Changing to K&N or UNI filters will require the Carburetors to be Re-Jetted. If you install the pipes without changes to Air filter box you will get the great pipe sound but not increased Performance. If you change to K&N pod Air filters and fail to Re-Jet the Carbs the engine will run Too Lean / Too Hot and will damage the pistons.
@@davidneviles7007 recalculated pipes means they usually allow more flow of the gases, so carbs need to provide more gasoline to keep it up. An air/ gas mix too lean can lead to the pistons seized in the barrels due to poor lubrication/ excessive temp, on the other side, a too rich mix will impair the ability of the engine of reaching the rpm intended for the designed work, giving poor performances, fouled heads and pipes.
@@Virtuoso23 My experience is running too Lean most often burns a hole thru the top of the Piston. Running too rich in older bikes (Pre Power Valve) Fouls Spark Plugs and will gum up Exhaust Port + Exhaust pipes....When you have Power Valves Rich condition will cause Excess TS oil accumulation in the Power Valves which will eventually cause Seal Failure in the Power Valves + Reduce full articulation of Valve Travel (Valve Sticking) Your Plugs should be slightly Moist during regular riding .....when riding it Hard / Wide Open Throttle Plug burn should run Dry with Medium brown color...Think Coffee with milk Added Color. Also I see Guyz running Too rich all the time....Your bike should only Smoke heavy / medium when cold at Start up...@ Temp your exhaust smoke should be very light / difficult to see / great smelling but Barley Noticeable. If your bike runs great but stumbles at Power Band Threshold ...That is your Mid-Range .....Adjust your Needle Jet Height up or down to illiminate pre power band hesitation. Pro Tip: Crank Work do not just have the Crank Trued + Welded....Have it Lightened and Balanced...Then Trued + welded. Instant Horse Power + far more Throttle response. + Reduced engine Vibration + engine will last longer.
Lovely, Thunberg would flip her lid if she saw this video! 🙂

Like my friends RD Top
Brilliant sound. Just a quick question. When you fit an after market pipe, does it increase hp? Maybe someone can help me out.
The exhaust is great sound and performance can only be recommended

These are also MUCH lighter tha. The stock pipes, by a signifigant amount.
