Fitness oriented folks: neckbands are a no brainer. Have lost a couple of TWS during workouts, neckbands are next to impossible to lose.
Have you snapped neckband wires? I did
I lost my neckband while outdoor cycling.
@@oksowhat only qn. How?
What kinda workouts you do? I'm into weight training, and TWS works just fine. The issue I feel is that the battery life goes to shit after a few months.
@@lakhshyalakey8078 I do calisthenics and cardio like running, cycling and swimming; which involve much more movement.
As a person who has used both
I think Neckband is better than tws.
Most people should prefer neckbank if they're confused.

Realme Neck band wire Brocken after 6month use.
Legends still prefer the wired earphone over bluetooth ones.
At the cost of TWS , you can easily get hi-fi IEMs , which has far superior sound quality and clarity than any wireless earphones and no worries for changing as well.
Agree but it's just messy and makes me uncomfortable in hot Sunny days.
Wired is great, till you wanna workout with music.

1:37 excellent music choice 👌
My only contentions with neckband earphones are that they hang too far down and the connecting part isn't flexible enough to be put in pocket. I liked the older style where they were connected by wire only, length was manageable and it could be quickly stowed away in a pocket or a small ziplock bag. Maybe I'm just weird in my ways. 🤔
Yes exactly they hang so low that we forget it's a wireless earphone it feels like wired one they should shorten it's length
I feel the same thing about neck band
Your confidence and content is so clean and real! I love your work team!
I used neckbands for a couple years, and switched to tws some months ago. And, I must say I miss my neckband. They're a hell lot more convenient. Hanging around your neck just snap apart and connected. With tws, take the box out, open it up, and put it in years while also holding the box, and all this on the run 🤷🏻♂️.
Yes I bought tws for the trend. But it took me actually using it, for me to realise I value convenience much more than trend.
Kuch chizo ki ahmiyat unke jane ke baad hi pata chalti h bro😅
Hey, I switched from TWS to Neckband for the same reason. Currently, I am on an Oppo Enco M31, and its great. Its really convenient as you said. But the problem which I am facing with both is call quality, They are a miss and I am mainly using the TWS/Neckband for calling purposes only...
Also which neckband supports connections with two devices(phone) at the same time. That's a killer feature to have...
@@naughtieindia well I have JBL Infinity Glide 120 and it connect to 2 devices same time but only one can play music at the same time
@@anmolhp6930 how is the longetivity
I mean how many months or years are you using it? How is the quality
My Sony WF1000XM3 TWS got a huge blow in terms of battery life. I have been using it for almost 2 years now. Even though in 1st year, I used it almost daily, nowadays it's more like 2 or 3 times in a week. Initially battery life was about 4.30 hours at max volume with ANC on but nowadays it is just over an hour to maximum 90 minutes. So, even though I could get to charge them 3 times through the case, I don't even get 5 hours before the case is totally empty anyway.
So in long term use neckbands are better alternative in terms of battery life compared to TWS
Damn, I didn't know tws are that bad in long term. Thanks for the info :)
@@xeyutipe Just an update, these days those don't even last 30 minutes in single charge. I have decided to change the battery by myself and see if it improves. Service center will deny to service it as it was purchased outside India after its global release but India got it about a year later.
This video was so so so much needed!!! Thank you team tech wiser. Helped alot! 🥰💗
I know these are the current trend. However, you have missed the over-ear headphones (like this 🎧). I think we should consider it instead of neckbands. They have their own advantages but less wire means less thing to worry. I'm just saying, what if there's only TWS and Wireless over-ear headphones. It would be amazing.
Also, over ear headphones are said to be better for your ears. In ear hve their speakers very close to the ear drums, that's not good for long term ear and hearing health.
But you can't use over the ear headphone for longer durations as it hurts the ear + their mic quality is poor
@@user-cj9hf3st8f only the cheap ones. The good ones are expensive but can be worn for hours. Also, your mic comment doesn't really make sense, seems you just got a bad headphone, mic quality has nothing to do with whether headphone is over ear or in ear
@@adityapathak5761 it was a comparision bro. Like if u compare neckband with headphones of the same price. The neckband is better in call quality. And is really handy.
Ps I have both
I am using soundcore life q10 my life is set because no necband tws or earphone can change its place because it is so good
I had LG tone hbs-730 in 2013 and they had dual pairing with vibration motor (hence you will know you're getting a call even if your phone is on silent or your phone disconnects i.e you forgot it somewhere) and retractable cable.
I used both the OnePlus bullets wireless 1&2 (very impressed with the sound quality and battery life but disappointed with the lack of features at high price) eventually switched to the Galaxy buds plus and now huawei freebuds pro for getting the best out of my buck.
I use TWS for laptop (UA-cam and video calls)
Neckband for mobile (mainly calls and music on the go)
With this, I have the convenience if neckband on the go and TWS for a clutterless work experience. Also having two separate devices let's them connect to your device seamlessly, as there will be no need for a device to switch to laptop-mobile and vice versa
Which neckband do you use bro?
TWS for laptop is good idea.
Thanks for this video just now searching for it.
Great video guys also great topics you guys cover.. should definitely say that. Cheers!!
In this difference, I'm hybrid user
For TWS : I use for my personal home user
For Wired : I use for long travel purpose
perfect
2 points you guys forgot to mention. Neckbands usually have better seal and multi device connectivity.
Except fashion maybe, Neckbands are better than TWS in every way.
Listening to this on my OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.. Neckbands are the way to go!
Mine not turning on after 5 month 😔
Now i have to apply for warranty 🙂
@@appu9836 I have been using mine since one year they are working perfectly 😅
@@IndianTrainSimulator I use my realme buds wireless 2 necklace and they are perfectly fine. I have used it for one month and no issues still. It also has active noise cancellation and and the latency is very low. I am not even facing latency while watching videos or movies. Maybe in game there might be a slight delay (I don't play any games) so you can enable game mode.
Edit - it is neckband, not necklace
Got my Galaxy Buds Live recently. So far so good, it seems...also feels like a premium product.
Another video by the team that we didn’t know we wanted. Great work guys!
You guys are doing a great job.
One point I think that was missed is that Neckbands can support dual pairing while TWS cannot since they first have to establish connectivity between the left and right earbud and then connect to the source device. Neckbands have an advantage here.
What's dual pairing?
@@shahul8222 They connect to two devices simultaneously. It's a Bluetooth 5.0 feature. Helps when you are watching a movie on laptop and if you phone rings, the movie is paused and connection is shifted to phone.
They can easily connect and switch between two devices at once
@@aayushsharma9386 wow 👍🏽
@@shahul8222 just check that your neckband supports this feature and it should be atleast Bluetooth 5

I use all 3....depends on usage scenario. For zero latency stuff, I use my Soundmagic E10Cs. They are great for music as well especially when you just want to sleep and listen to some good peaceful music. I use neckband (Realme) for my office calls as you can move around freely. I use TWS (nothing Ear(1)) for only with my phone or tablet for movies and music.
Sadly I can’t afford to have so many good options, good for you

Unique content❤️
Im still sticking to Neckbands as its easy to maintain (atleast according to me).
1. TWS will be rendered useless if the charging case goes kaput.
2. With Neckbands, you wear it around your neck and go by your day. You will not feel you are carrying an extra thing.
3. Its easier to charge a neckband than a tws case.
4. Buttons>>> Gestures/taps. Prove me otherwise.
I currenlty use Realme wireless 2 neo and RHA MA 390 doing the wired duty.
Thank you for making this video ..... Just now I was confused to buy tws or neckband . This video really helped me decide
What you decide bro. Neck or TWS
I just love 1+ neckband because I can easily switch between Phone PC. How can u not mention this point.
Thats a really good feature thanks for telling 🤩
Yes same here
After using AirPods Gen 2 for for 4-5months they are not convenient at all for (local train especially) the passive noise cancellation is too bad and at least for me the fear of falling and losing is very present, but the call quality and the overall call experience is just outstanding apple just got calling right
But I’m planning to go ahead and get a neckband with a magnet
That's why it is better to get pros with silicon tips. They don't fall out of your ears and are decently comfy.
Really helpful points!!
Is there a difference in sound quality between the two variants?
1:38 Pistah 🔥😂
I have personally used the Realme Buds Air, Boat Airdopes and trust me they don't last more than 6 months. Infact i had even availed the 1 year warranty but they just stopped working eventually. Finally shifted to a jbl neckband and never looked back. Truly Wireless Stereo ; truly not worth it!

For gym people, hands down neckbands are the best, in fact they were in the trend just because it could be used to gym and athletics so it can never be replaced by wired earphones or TWS.
I was also confused which to buy, TWS or neckband. I ended up buying both. I have realme buds pro and realme buds wireless. Good video, clean and straight to point. Good job TW team. 😊

Can i get some opinions on the realme wireless buds 2 neo?
Very nicely explained bro.. 😍
I find your reviews very unique and helpful
All three have their places, I use wired for gaming and indoor calls, Neckband for travelling and music, and my trusty Life Dot 2 tws while running. I used realme buds neckband while running for a year, and I hate it.
People usually don't talk about it but most TWS lose voice quality after a while... Even in branded ones! I had them! And they are really easy to loose... Not meant for when driving or riding a bike! I currently use the oneplus budz z, been over a year the audio quality is the same, easy to use while riding bikes or workout! And holds a charge of 20 hours! Plus you can connect it to your powerbank for a quick 10 minute charge that'll last you for more than a couple of hours! Go for the neckband!
Really needed this video 😀 #techwiser
Should I buy Mivi Collar classic neckband?
I have realme buds air pro and realme buds wireless 2. after using both I think neckband is a bit better.
I guess TW is spying on me with cookies 🤯😱 Just browsed for these on Amazon and here comes the notification 🥰
The way bro executed the about TWS getting lost somewhere in the video is just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻✨
I am a guy, who loves using Wired Earphones due to its sound quality 😍. even if I have budget I'll definitely go for wired ones & hesitate to spend my money on wireless, but at some point while travelling you seriously feel the need of portable earphones
Ditto, Mate
Agreed. Wired earphones are great. But now that I have a Moto Edge 30, my wired ones lie useless. Gotta buy a neckband now
Yes . I use neckband to listen to music while riding. Since now a days phones don't have 3.5mm jack its difficult to use the USB type c to 3.5mm connector and keep the phone in your pocket !
Simple but stylish way of presenting

I also think for calls you should go for a neck band, its really unconvinient when you have to use 1 earbud only (altleast for me).
I've been using neckband for over a year now, recently I got Airpods pro and I can't use them, They are so inconvenient, I always have to carry case, If I've to talk to someone or I need a short break I always have to find case first or to hold them in hand, I decided to go back to my cheap neckband,
I don’t want you to struggle with that shitty AirPods. Kindly send that shit to my home :) lol
Disappointed to see how you completely ignored OnePlus neckband which is one of most popular neckbands right now, and it has one of best batter back ups and it charges uptp 100% in just 10 minutes and lasts for several days in normal usage. The Quick Switch feature that it has, one of the most convenient and practical features for people who constantly switch between mobile and computer.
Wowww! Just when i was bit confused what to buy between TWS or Neckband? And guess what Techwiser's Notification pops up on a Dedicated Video on the same!! Thank You Team Techwiser ❤️ You guys are really hardworking and Smart Content Creators, Kudos!!!
So which one did you decide? 🤔
@@aadhi9540
1)buy neckbands if you need to take a lot of calls on the go. Like loads of bus/train travel, where wires can cause annoyance, and may even get torn.
2)buy TWS if you have specific usage scenario. Like you need to wear earphones under helmet while travel. And we Doctors need bluetooth tws at times while working. But remember that TWS earbuds don't last long. 6-12months max.
3) for any other use, music/games/casual usage.. always go for wired ones. A Rs600 wired earphone like Realme buds 2 has the same quality as Rs2100 Buds 2 TWS. And that too without the headache of charging and latency.
4) If you live in a not so hot/humid part of India, and need the best sound quality possible, and don't plan on travelling much, buy an over the ear headphone with a big sound driver (atleast 45mm).
Remember, Idiots buy TWS to show off, a real music lover goes for quality.

Hi. At 6:18, You mentioned that you can't use one bud at a time when using neckbands. I've never had that issue... I do use one bud at a time, the left side, just fine during calls. However, I'm not familiar with the neckband that you are demoing, so perhaps it's a limitation with that one in particular, although still weird. I reverted to neckbands because of the TWS' discomfort and ease of loss. I like hiding the neckband under the collar as the buds are magnetic. Thanks for the video!
