+Seren Weeks Haha, you could buy wands on the internet too, but my point is its so fcking nice there and this wands are just not like the wands in the movie.
When I was picked I had the same reaction because it's very nerve racking having 40 people watch you and take pictures of you you can't be expected to jump with glee when you get picked. I'm sure if you got picked you wouldn't be screaming and shouting about it. Also she was smiling and laughing which means that she was having a good time at it.dont judge people on how they look.😡
In case you're wondering why you have to pay Its because it's based off of the book not the movie which is why he takes all those measurements In the book Harry has to pay for his wand
Indeed, the entire speech describing the magical cores and how no two Ollivanders wands are alike is lifted directly from the first book! Plus, how would the Ollivander family expect to keep their business afloat for over a thousand years without expecting at least _some_ payment for the wands?
not to mention the fact that if it always given away for free in every show, people would have tried to, exploit it? (please correct me on that) Take advantage of the freebie and sell the them online (possibly)
alright when I go to ollivanders all these little kids better move out the fuckin way I've waited my whole life for this , they cant appreciate thiiiiis like I will
One day, me and my sister were doing this. Well, my sister was, she wanted one horribly. I tagged along to see what it was like. She said she wouldn't be upset if I wasn't chosen. I got chosen. I still enjoyed it. It was spectacular. Most authentic thing I've ever seen.
When they first opened they didn't charge the person for the wand who got picked for this. It's all about the money now, which got me to find another interest. Use to be more about the fans.
if they had continued to do so then people would have taken advantage of it and maybe hoard them to sell the them online, I'm glad they changed it but I can understand why people would be upset
I actually bought the 100 dollar elders wand here its pretty amazing and actually feels like a real wand not like a fake plastic cheap wand you can buy in walmart or target or macys
I like better the deliciously experience of Olivander in the book, there's not so much show with the wands, is just the infinite experience of Olivander when he says NO THATS NOT THE ONE!! when Harry barely touches the wands! I just love that! ANYWAYS! THIS IS SO LOVELY!!! I just want to go there and have my wand chosen like her!
Were so similar attraction it once at Phantasialand. However, it worked perfectly with no technical tricks, but only with optical illusions. So a chair with the back chair legs perched on a narrow edge. Folded down easily. They sat on it for an audience, and he stopped. There, the audience sat through the whole show. Unfortunately, the attraction was demolished in 2011. The name of the attraction was "Casa Magnetica", also "the crooked house" called.
No, they have this extra room with wands that you can pick out of your choice, he just picks 1 person to do the wand fitting, and then he sends everyone to a room with wands that you can buy.
Still have to pay for the wand. 48 dollars (before tax) for the interactive kind when I went last week. The regular ones modeled after wands of characters in the series were 35. They also asked everyone to put away cameras and not to take any flash photography before the presentation started.
You can keep it if you want to buy it. They are around 30 dollars I think. I got chosen by my wand when I went there. Usually they ask you if you want to keep it. If you do than you go to the counter to purchase it, if you don't I'm pretty sure they take it back.
@DREWdesu Wingardium leviosa makes things hover and float, but descendo actually makes objects move down. Ron used it to get the stairs to his attic down.
When I go I am going to try and be the first in line so hopefully he'll pick me to have the wand choose me! It looks so epic!!! and that little girl looked so weirded out! lol Obviously not a TRUE HP fan lol
If you're wondering not every body does this. Usually you walk in and you get the wand that is yours based on your birthday. My wand is hermiones wand its called vine. That's the September 5-29 wands.
@MellonShow Firstly, it's spelled "accio" and "descendo". Secondly, the spell descendo causes objects to descend... as in, come down. So using descendo instead of accio in this case is perfectly correct.
So we put up a little show for a resin wand (with no magical core I bet), and mommy and daddy can't say NO to buying this! LOL That's the way on making money!
Descendo Pronunciation: deh-SEN-doh Description: Causes the target to move downwards. Seen/Mentioned: In 1997, it was used by Ron to magically cause the stairs in his bedroom, which lead to his family's attic, to descend; later that year, Crabbe used it in an attempt to cause a wall of rubbish behind which Ron was hiding to fall on him. Etymology: Descendo is Latin for "I descend".

+Sarah Ye In the States it isn't considered rude; I do it sometimes when I'm the center of attention because I'm really shy, and it's a calming gesture for me.
In Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando. If you get a map of the park it will be North East, can't miss it as it is in Hogsmeade area. However, a few weeks ago they built a Diagon Alley on the other side of the Universal park called Universal Studios and I bet they put Olivander's shop in the proper place and that would be in the Diagon Alley area there. I went about a month ago and Diagon Alley was not quit finished yet ;( If you have Park to Park pass you can go to both sides by an actual Hogwarts express, they even have Gringotts bank. They also built an apart building area where Sirius Black lives. Even Creature the Sirius' house elf looks out the window every 5 minutes for a few seconds. Well I don't want to give it all away. You just have to go ;)
Is there an age limit on this? Because I so want to go to Ollivander's and get a wand, but I'm well over 18, ha, and so is the date I want to take who would also enjoy this!
if she just pointed at him and said avada kedavra I would've lost my shit
boi 😂😂😂
I wish
Hahahah😂
Only a Shimada can control the dragons
+JadaMaria overwatch??
Even though I'm 16, I would still get up there and get a wand :P
+Ryan Jennings i live in australia, and by the tie I'm able to fly there ill be like 24, AND THATS THE FIRST STOP
+Seren Weeks Haha, you could buy wands on the internet too, but my point is its so fcking nice there and this wands are just not like the wands in the movie.

Seren Weeks Harry Potter, Was and still is a big part of my childhood.
I'm 23 and I think it is SO COOL!!
That girl should really have a more grateful expression. Honestly it's not always people get to go here.
Stekino Mai Some people are happy on the inside but don't smile a lot. Like me.
When I was picked I had the same reaction because it's very nerve racking having 40 people watch you and take pictures of you you can't be expected to jump with glee when you get picked. Stekino Mai yeah i really hate it that she isnt grateful.
If I got picked I would be like yes!!!!!!!!
I am so desperate to go there and I would be eternally grateful if I were picked. I'm saving money to go there, hopefully for graduation in 2019
In case you're wondering why you have to pay

In the movie he doesn’t have to pay? How does ollivander stay in business giving out free wands to everybody?
not to mention the fact that if it always given away for free in every show, people would have tried to, exploit it? (please correct me on that)
Take advantage of the freebie and sell the them online (possibly)

He forgot to say Don't forget to not store the wand in your back pocket ;(
The Bull25 true

He called her a Wizard she is a Witch
Is no one realizing that it should be accio at the beginning
I did.
I want to go to harry potter world
When they first opened they didn't charge the person for the wand who got picked for this. It's all about the money now, which got me to find another interest. Use to be more about the fans.
Even Harry Potter need to pay for his..
if they had continued to do so then people would have taken advantage of it and maybe hoard them to sell the them online, I'm glad they changed it but I can understand why people would be upset
I'm laughing my ass off when the plant died. Pretty much me with my life.
Im 16 years old and I still want to do this, pffft I'd probably want to do this at the age of 61!
She's standing there like:
K. kol. som thing else m8? u finish? K. kool
I actually got tears in my eyes watching this. Children would love this.

Ungrateful.
RandomKawaii Panda yea I know I would be like YES!!!!
RandomKawaii Panda crossing your arms mean you're closed minded and untrustworthy .
Sometimes kids do that when they feel like something/someone is invading their privacy
same
Well, maybe she is just shy and uncomfortable
This is a trip and a half. Last time I checked, I'm 32 years old. This has got to be the grooviest place around. I'd totally do this.
if they only had this when I was 7years old when the first movie came out. I'm 20 right now but I shall still get my wand!!! lol
I actually bought the 100 dollar elders wand here its pretty amazing and actually feels like a real wand not like a fake plastic cheap wand you can buy in walmart or target or macys
If that was John Hurt, I would totally go there.
Robert Chambers - even if it wasn't I would still go
in every single olivanders wand shop video
olivander is a completely different man each time :D
I like better the deliciously experience of Olivander in the book, there's not so much show with the wands, is just the infinite experience of Olivander when he says NO THATS NOT THE ONE!! when Harry barely touches the wands!
I just love that!
ANYWAYS! THIS IS SO LOVELY!!! I just want to go there and have my wand chosen like her!

I heard someone say if you are very enthusiastic, and you go to the front of the room you have a very good chance of being picked.
The English accent sounds genuine!
It's very convincing I agree, but the way he pronounces a few words like the spells I can tell it's fake. But it's still extremely impressive
where my Hufflepuffs at??? 🙋
here
no slytherin.
Holly Dafler here
Holly Dafler :( over here...
Hi ✌︎('ω')✌︎
this looks awsome i love harry potter
NAILED IT!
I'd just be like, "ACCIO WANDS!"
Then run away giggling with all the wands in the shop!
Still have to pay for the wand. 48 dollars (before tax) for the interactive kind when I went last week. The regular ones modeled after wands of characters in the series were 35. They also asked everyone to put away cameras and not to take any flash photography before the presentation started.
that would have been awkward if she was like "but i don't want this one"
@MellonShow Awesome!!!!!! Good!
You can keep it if you want to buy it. They are around 30 dollars I think. I got chosen by my wand when I went there. Usually they ask you if you want to keep it. If you do than you go to the counter to purchase it, if you don't I'm pretty sure they take it back.
It's all the same show with different spells to figure out which wand is yours. It's up to the Wandkeeper to pick the person to do the demonstrasion.
The first wand he chose for her was the wand that picked me :)
I'm 21 and I still look like a teenager. If I ever go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and I go to Ollivander's, I had better get my wand.
I wish they were more amazed and awed like they make kids like me look bad! Not all kids act like this
I'd say "Hi, I'm Harry Potter's mother. Nice to meet you!"
They pick the person who looks the most exited.
Aww, this is so awesome! Do they make the same show for adults? I would love that. xD
Hayley, I love that name. If I have a daughter I'm gonna call her Hayley
@DREWdesu
Wingardium leviosa makes things hover and float, but descendo actually makes objects move down. Ron used it to get the stairs to his attic down.
this is so freakin awesome !

masterful sales process. They thought of every single step.
Olivanders made finest wands since 1962B
Elder Wood, with a phoenix core and 12 1/2 inches on pottermore. Would love to buy an replica in real life.
@10music4life Thats because Mr. Ollivander was killed in the books. These are merely shop assistants.
If you're wondering not every body does this. Usually you walk in and you get the wand that is yours based on your birthday. My wand is hermiones wand its called vine. That's the September 5-29 wands.
Do you know about July, please tell me ( by the way you probably went to a different Harry Potter world/land.
What about August my birthday is on August, so what's the wand type
I hate how only one person gets chosen and there is a huge chance they have never even seen the first movie. What a scam.
Yeah they should make EVERYONE get chosen, common sense!
izryan Gaming Movie? I think you mean read the first book?
2 people can get chosen
I've always wanted to go to the wizarding world of Harry potter but my family doesnt have enough money to go
It's at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Flordia. Unless, you talking about the real on in Diagon Alley in London, England.
If Ollivander asked my name, I'd say Tom Riddle.
@MellonShow
Firstly, it's spelled "accio" and "descendo". Secondly, the spell descendo causes objects to descend... as in, come down. So using descendo instead of accio in this case is perfectly correct.
SlytherintoMyHeart wands they are Real OR fake can you respond me plz
So we put up a little show for a resin wand (with no magical core I bet), and mommy and daddy can't say NO to buying this! LOL That's the way on making money!
AHHHH I want a wand
Descendo
Pronunciation: deh-SEN-doh
Description: Causes the target to move downwards.
Seen/Mentioned: In 1997, it was used by Ron to magically cause the stairs in his bedroom, which lead to his family's attic, to descend; later that year, Crabbe used it in an attempt to cause a wall of rubbish behind which Ron was hiding to fall on him.
Etymology: Descendo is Latin for "I descend".
spells are:
aquamenty for watering the flowers
accio ladder for pullin ladder
wingardium leviosa to get the box
wave ur want at the bell and it rings :O
and when u say Lumos the place lights up
Damn, that's so cool O:
I think it's around 35 dollars for the wand. The character wands are that much as well.
I wanna choose my wand like that! Its almost ma B-day I'm going there!
aguamenti is a spell that will shoot water in the top of your wand
I"VE BEEN THERE!!
It's in Orlando Studios, Florida!
spells are:
aquamenty for watering the flowers
accio ladder for pullin ladder
wingardium leviosa to get the box
and u wave ur want at the bell and it rings :O
now i see why the line is always so long, one day i wait in line for this, even though i'm 19 I do pass for a 16 year old lol
I think it's in Orlando, Were the Harry POtter section is.
Genius.
Omg soooo good
Om My Goodness...I want to go there so badly! I heard it's in Florida?
If that were me, I'd be squealing so loudly.
The girl is very rude. She crosses her arms. Not trying to be mean but that's just what I thought
+Sarah Ye In the States it isn't considered rude; I do it sometimes when I'm the center of attention because I'm really shy, and it's a calming gesture for me.
+Grace Pike ahhhhh I see. Sorry misunderstood 🙏🏻😁😁
+Grace Pike Or maybe she has no idea what to do with her arms. I get that problem a lot.
how is that at all rude?
3rd movie is Prizoner of Azkaban. The 4th one is Goblet of Fire
i bet there is a line that goes for miles outside his shop
For Christmas I'm going there
Omg I was there for one of them I wasn't the one who got picked tho
@MellonShow
But for the sittuation Accio would be the correct spell.
Its fantastic! I`m a fan of Harry Potter! Can you say where it is situated???
Universal Orlando, both parks there have Ollivanders.
In Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando. If you get a map of the park it will be North East, can't miss it as it is in Hogsmeade area. You just have to go ;)
Would it be strange if I am 18 and I want to choose my wand like the little girl? Or am I too old for that? Did any older people do this
And they other ones can't be choosen by a wand? Or at least buy one?
Hahaha, in that case, I would definitely get chosen, even though I'm 21 ;-)
5 people are Muggles and are skeptics.
It does!
I want a wand too! whats with being a potterhead with no wand? 😭
I got the elder wand. I’m not joking I went there and I just went in the hat and it said I’m in slytherin
The wand she was giving can u buy it I always wanted to know
can you purchase a wand even if you are not chosen for the ceremony
I wonder how many of those boxes are actually real.
Is there an age limit on this? Because I so want to go to Ollivander's and get a wand, but I'm well over 18, ha, and so is the date I want to take who would also enjoy this!
I love harry potter moives
