Glad you’d posted a video. Went out only to find my batteries had leaked and my trusty Laser Powermax2 is down until I get some decent batteries. Back to watching DD videos 😁
Nice clip Bill & Julie could have done with a bit more rain on that one , looks fairly solid ground , some tidy finds , looking forward to the next time 😊, all the best Andy 👍
Slow start but amazing finish!😊 well saved Dan! That first Roman looks weird! Never seen a high relief like that but definitely seems to be a Roman well done😊
Hahaha 🤣 it's my smile I think she's keen on 🤣🤣😅. I've just been informed that the weird roman coin with the really raised bust, is actually an iron age Potin 😲. I had no idea 🤦♂️
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting Yes, i read that comment, very cool find 👍well done 👏Maybe i should try bribing her with Jaffa cakes 🤔wonder if she likes Jaffa cakes🤣🤣
you beat me to it Peter! I was suspecting just that, only because I found one recently. Cantiaci Thurrock type - head of Apollo obverse and 'butting bull' reverse - I think about 150BC. I was thrilled with mine!
That's amazing, I had no idea 😲. I thought it was a little odd for a roman coin. I've had a little look online, and you are definitely on the money. Apolo head and charging bull 👍. Definitely a first for me 👌. Thank you very much mate
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting it’s worth going back and giving the area another look as you could have an early roman/celtic site near by and the big Roman you found would tie in well with the Potin 👍
@petert1572 I have a highly populated roman field near to this one, and have also found 2 staters and a silver unit in the past 👍. I will certainly go over that area thoroughly when I get the chance 😊
Sounds like a great one!
Watching now 😁

Hi Dan could it be a bad Forgery gone wrong ? great vid once again mate
Hey dan, talking about your display cabinet
You should do a wee vid on it and your favourite finds 👍👍
Slow start but amazing finish!😊 well saved Dan! That first Roman looks weird! Never seen a high relief like that but definitely seems to be a Roman well done😊
I've been informed that it is actually an iron age Potin 😲. How amazing is that ✨️. A first for me and I didn't even know 🤦♂️
First 😊
Is ring shaped find a decoration around a walking stick maybe?
The little ring could be a bird ring
Maybe a medieval hawking ring? 🤔. Now that would be cool 😎
Hey Dan, some lovely finds 👍well done. How in the world do you get Helen to answer you? Do you bribe her with Jaffa cakes 🤔🤣Swear she hates me 🤣🤣 xx

I took 2 boxes with me when I first met her lol 😆 😂 jaffa faces always get good results 🤣
I'd vote hair ring for that one Dan?
@StylesFilms that is a good thought mate, could well be that 👍
Is the round thing with crosses a beard decoration?
Hi DD. Could the big, old ring be a Swan leg ring?? Bit of a long shot punt!! Cheers, John.
Thanks mate, 😊 it's made of copper alloy, and the crosses on it make me think medieval 🤦♂️. I honestly have no idea 🤔
Iron Age Potin the coin with a raised head 👍and a bull on the reverse
