I have my own little woodworking business and when you tell them the price customers are like wow that's expensive. People don't want to understand the cost and time involved. The sanding, so much sanding! I appreciate the time and work put into this.
Something tells me you're glad you're done with that one. Sometimes new designs can be a challenge that may not be as rewarding as they are challenges. Oh but the final is a joy to see ... Thanks Joey.
I do very similar work in the states Northern California to be exact. I just purchased the Bosh 5” & 6” sanders with the turbo switch. Both together were about the cost of a Festool . And the perform better! I hv some expensive tables going out the shop and I already found them just a huge time saver and better end product! Thanks Joey for the content been watching you from about 2016 ? Long enough I can’t remember Anyway God bless you & yours mate! 👊
Very nice job JOEY! Always enjoy your craftsmanship and creativity! Glad to see you putting out another video, yes I miss them but life comes first. :^)
Thanks Joey! Brilliant work. I love the idea of approaching furniture as carving/sculpture rather than boxes and right angles. Seems to really up the difficulty level though. Nice job on that bedside table. It really looks nice.
They turned out great mate, classic look with the painted cabinet and unpainted timber top, have to say that oak looks to be the perfect combination with the cabinet 👌👌👍👍👍🇦🇺
Excellent idea with the legs, makes such a difference to the look, just modelled up a quick version in Sketchup after watching this, looks so much better. Nice to see you back mate BTW
Nice to see another video from you, I was following this on Instagram. Always good to see an alternative approach to a traditional method of manufacture. Not a fan of cabriole legs but great craftsmanship. Cheers
I loved it, thank you for sharing. btw I was getting a dinning chair vibe from this project that i could not shake off. I am just a starting hobbyist so what do i know lol
You are the best on UA-cam at designing the most difficult things possible. And then just to make me feel bad about my skill level, go and build it. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Really like this design and process, nicely done.. I’m sure there are a few people out there who would pay a small fee for the leg template file to download so they can make their own. Just a thought. Is all the rage with the USA woodwork youtubers.
Yea true, couple of reasons, 1. For shallow drawers in this case I had115mm to play with the undermount runners take up about 30mm so the usable drawer space becomes a bit small. Also the bugger on this was pretty well all used on my labour , so needed a simpler solution for the drawers
I really like your videos but please, record them in higher resolution. It says 1080p but it's 420 at best. It's a bit hard to look at it in 2021. I would really really appreciate it and I'm sure it would benefit your channel as well. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi. Interesting idea, but doesn't this mean you have to start with a larger piece of blank stock at the beginning? Probably why the glue on 'ears' came about in the first place.
Wow how long man...last tme i saw you ...you had more black hair...just a joke...this is more experience being aqquired...i have leanerd a lot whatching your videos thank you..

Great eye for detail, man 👌🏽
Looks fantastic, I bet your mum is stocked with them! 👍🏽
Great design; like the way legs curve all the way to the top. As always, thanks for sharing your ideas and skills with us. Best wishes. :)

Nice to see you back mate BTW
G'day Joey. Though you don't teach in your builds I feel I'm still learning a heap watching you work. Lovely design.
Very nice.
That's awesome mate - the technique with the integrated ears worked out pretty mint - I assume you're happy with how it worked?
very nice!!!!!!

Even though we are all our own worse critics- I still think it is perfect.

Good to see you Joey
i love scuptured furniture, love to give it ago someday. What wood do you use for the base?
Great to see another vid - excellent as always! (was it just me, or was the volume level very low on this one?)
very low
Nice work, the only thing I don't like was that the legs look like they stand out farther then the top but love the redesign.

Well done! After rough-cutting the drawer fronts on the bandsaw, why not use the CNC to make the complex cove?
Very nice
Gotta look after your mum. Well done
Lovely, great watching you work as always. Why not under drawer runners? A bit of a shame to see the metal when they're open...
