If the new laws support farmers, the real toiling farmers ,it needs to be welcomed and accepted. Marketing farm produce is not actual farming and only who produces should be considered as farmers.

Small farmers now roam around streets to sell their produce to get at least their cost of production. Now with Covid, demand for farm produce almost died and exports fell due to restrictions. Where will those tiny farmers go. If MSP does not cover cost of production, how will small farmers survive. Big farmers who use tractors and large land holdings can always thrive well because they produce more and with MSP and their volume of production, they are assured of steady income and keep more bank balances. But, the MSP paying authority has to hold all excess production in warehouse and they perish because of over supply of same product by big producers. So, the laws need to give a free hand and free market to small dying farmers as well and for that Big Mandi farmers to support. All farmers need to survive.
