This is my second time on aromatase inhibitors. I'm a grandmother, so not concerned with raising a child. I'm glad you have come to peace about the medication. Even though I don't have the same concerns you do, I still want to stick around. Five years on Anastrozole the first time. Now I'm on Letrozole. I don't feel good, and I have some other scary things going on beside the cancer. I've had chronic pain issues for well over 25 years and the aromatase inhibitor exacerbates that. However, the medication is a major component in doing well, so even though I'm looking at taking it for the rest of my life I will if at all possible. Take care of yourself and enjoy your precious boy.

I saw your hair loss video, and I am pleased to see that you have kept your lovely pixie cut. A woman in my church has decided the same after losing hers, and it looks stunning. Continued good health. God bless!

I’m watching your videos as I prepare for start Tamoxifen and this one really resonated with me. I’m 37 and have a 18 month old and a 3.5 year old and they are the biggest reason why I’m willing to at least try it. My cancer was caught VERY very early and so my risk or recurrent/secondary cancer is very low, but in reading about it, I want toy best chance to be here for them to experience life with them… not excited about being on it (dreading it, really), but I’m determined and motivated by them. I hope I can maintain that perspective.

I'm happy to hear this video resonated with you and I truly hope you've continued to feel like yourself if you've begun the medication. Much love to you and your family🌷💕

I so appreciate your videos . After watching all this side effects I’m for sure not going to go through this . There has to be a natural medication that can be used . I have allways said all pharma drugs are toxic and they’l will hurt you . This is just what I truly think . I’m do for a double mastectomy , not sure at this point how I’ll handle all this . I’m still trying to process it . Not easy at all 😢 I have DCIS just caught at stage 0. Doc said no chemo or radiation needed but she said a hormone yes .

I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. I went thru chemo, surgery, and radiation. My r breast had a tennis ball tumor and the chemo shrank it was down. I was blessed. I still have my breast. My cancer was hormonal and in my ducts. I started on anastrozole in Feb 24. I felt horrible, didn't want to do anything, bone pain.. no energy. Dr said take a break then go on every other day for a month.. I started every day July 1.. and same results. My oncologist on Monday said to wait another 2 weeks and we are going to wean you on letrizole.😞..I really don't want to do this I just turned 68. And my quality of life is horrible. When I'm of it I feel better after about 2 weeks. I'm exasperated about this. I trust in the Lord, He git me thru cancer and healed me with the help of my cancer team who were awesome. If you know of any holistic or natural way to help with estrogen, can you let me know? God bless, Vicki 🙏

@@goodgoogallymoogally1688 Hi sweet Vicky ! I had my mastectomy on July 29 . I’m now going through the process of the drains uff so uncomfortable. I had DCIS in the duct , but mine was stage zero thank s to the Lord . The doctor told me also that pathology report also stated it didn’t compromise and lump nodes. Everything came out negative. My fear was having to drink those pills after surgery, I’m completely have no period I’m 61 , therefore the doctor said I don’t need to take any pills . But if I would have to I would turn completely into the natural. There’s a doctor that his name is DR. Sabi he has to do much knowledge about healing herbs that for sure he can help you . Search for Dr. sebi in google and you-tube dear for sure you can take the natural approach to this , I hope this helps you in any way .God heals you and helps you be of strong courage and guides you .

My wife is on Temoxifin for DCIS and she have all kinds of crazy problems now. She is currently suffering from joint pain and a swollen trap muscle that hurts bad. Her dose was cut down to 10mg.

I had much pain in my bones n constant headache n worse depression with 20mg. That was no life. I feel much better with 5 mg . The doctor said 5 mg is better than nothing.

I was on it for 7 years and just ended it this year. I will be 43 in 10 days. I experienced so many side effects and the worst for me was bone pain. Someone asked me if I had heard about Claratin this was after I had stopped the medication. Apparently it helps with the histamine response that can cause pain. I started seeing a naturopathic oncologist as well who has helped me with my nerve issues and histamine issues. I wish I had known about the histamine response issues earlier on but I think this is only new information. Sending you healing light and strength. I took part in First Descents this year as well and highly recommended these getting out there adventures or experiences to help connect with other survivors and the community. ❤
