Join us as we go Wandering Out Yonder on a Van Road Trip that resulted in visiting 9 Northern Pennsylvania State Parks in 36 Hours! We travel along stopping by several landmarks, overnight camp in the van in Ole Bull State Park (A Year Round Campground that is opening for camping in PA) as we travel to our destination of the Kinzua Bridge that was toppled by a tornado in 2003. In this video, we venture out on a road trip to Northern PA that landed us in Upper Pine Bottom, Hyner Run, Hyner View, Ole Bull, Cherry Springs (a Dark Sky State Park), Patterson, Kinzua Bridge, Parker Dam & S.B. So many state parks! Particularly enjoyed the beautiful views from the railroad bridge near Ramsey Village, the lookout area at Hyner View, and the reflections of the clouds in the water at Parker Dam 👍 Always a fan of the CCC history, too... Have a great weekend!
We really enjoy it! We didn't realize there were so many state parks in such close proximity, so we were actually thrilled to be able to see so many of them:) We will be returning to a few of these areas for some future hiking! Thanks for watching!
