Re: rebellions having twice the army of the original countries. I think that it makes sense for rebel armies to be larger than the armies of their former countries. The professional armies were funded and maintained by the state, while the rebellion consists of all the discontent people who would rather not be under your flag. The problem is that these larger armies have the same discipline, morale, and ability as a professional army, and I think that's what needs to be changed.
Yeah, depending on the rebel type shitty troops with a good leader to represent the peasant masses with a few trained soldiers mixed in would probably be a better representation of what's going on.

So you can take over some backwater nation 2-3 techs behind you and with bad management of your war exhaustion, tolerance, etc., you could see a rebel army pop out a few months later with the same tech as you. Moral and discipline depend on rebel type, but they are usually on par with real armies you might have to fight. Plus they pretty much always have a general and AI luck with the rng on dice rolls.
@@maneatingcheeze the tech thing makes sense though, new rebels would have access to your weapon depots and thus have your tech. most rebel armies also definitely arent on par with a professional army, or if they are on par its for a reason. a stack of 10k seperatists or particularists you can easily beat with 5-6k with a general without extra army quality for example, but it makes sense for noble or pretender rebels to be almost on par because they have more cavalry and more training because of their status in the social hierarchy
I’ve enjoyed getting -40% tech cost with them, plus a few -10% in particular categories too. And I’m pretty sure there are other modifiers I’m missing too.

Daimyo mission trees are currently bugged btw. You can't complete half of the mission tree since the require you to be Japan, but once you're Japan you get completely new missions so you can't ever complete them. They are gonna fix this in the next patch. Tbh I don't really like Japan's missions all that much. They are ok, nothing special.

I had cannon and needed Nantes to force Brittany into a surrender. I felt safe with siege Progress at 14% that I challenged the Austrians for the Burgundian throne….. I got to 70% but the AI took Paris at 21% and England joined the war and took labourd because the English had enough time to ferry over the troops. Rage quit
Chat GPT won't give the correct answers, it will however generate the best answer based on the information available to it write it up in confident language. Even if it's complete and total bullshit because it's been fed lies, it will still say it all confidently.
Prestige or inflation reduction is pretty good, inflation is slightly better since combined with trade obvs, prestige is just generally always good I'll be honest I can't remember other admin advisors but those are generally good for anyone especially the inflation one if you're constantly peacing out other nations for their money which increases inflation
Early game inflation reduction and prestige, later on production is quite good once you've build up your economy. Gives a nice boost and basically pays himself more or less.
@Slow not really since you can attack other countries while you keep your rivals in truce. I did that once, it only delayed my unification by a decade. But I specifically chose my rivals to be 3 guys that are allied to each other so when I only had to fight the 3 nations for Mana.
