I think XBox was the clear graphical all-around winner here. The comparison between the Gamecube and PS2 is a bit more interesting because I feel like the Gamecube looks better when it comes to still or mostly-still images, but PS2 starts to look better once things are in motion. I think PS2 might have slightly better frame rate for this game, while Gamecube has either better resolution or better textures.
PS2 doesn't have better frame rate, it has an unlocked frame rate(hovering around 30 and 60, thus instability), while the GC and Xbox have fixed 30 fps.
The PS2 plays stuttery as hell. Go fix your eyes brother. The gamecube plays very smooth just as the Xbox. Though the Xbox was actually zoomed in, so in reality the Xbox should look better on a CRT.

The PS2 as stated definitely has got some stuttering issues going on, if it's on an emulator it could be that too. Xbox looks the best, I own a GC and PS2 and love all three consoles so no fanboying here lmao at the end of the day it's up to how the developers port it and what hardware they got to work with. There definitely is some ports on Xbox that's better on GC or PS2 and vice versa.

What resolution is the gamecube? Because u can force 480p natively by holding down the B button when starting up a game.
Yeah, but only if the game supported 480p.
I kinda like the game over screen of this game because it has the T2 reference where the Terminator's vision shuts down after getting destroyed. But it's disappointing that the Terminator doesn't have a death animation like the ROTM version because the first time I died was when I got punched by a T-900 from the nowhere and the terminator was trying to stand up straight in slow motion while the game told me that I ran out of energy. Even on helicopter the camera starts spinning crazy when I failed the mission. But there's a cool little detail in the Terminator's POV because on the top left of the screen while trying to save your progress. His status will inform about your save data progress in the background if it was successful or an error if you tried to save it without the Memory Card inserted or interrupting it. During in Upgrades screen you can also move the Terminator in the background to look using the right analog stick.
I read that the original xbox was supposed to have 128mb of ram but Microsoft cheaped out last second and we only got 64mb. doubling the ram would have made games look even better as we could have gotten better textures.
Throwing shade at Microsoft when Sony released an inferior console that was harder to develop games for? Well, that's certainly a take.
The Xbox already had 2x the RAM as ps2 and 30% more than GC
I like to use GameCube when possible as the games are way smaller size then the PS2 versions

The original Xbox is truly the ultimate console for the 6th gen Terminator games. Dawn of Fate on Xbox has superior performance, textures, and lighting effects to the PS2 version. Rise of the Machines on Xbox has the sharpest resolution and textures, fastest load times, and the best sound quality due to the game making great use of the Dolby Digital support whereas the PS2 version sounds average and only supports DTS and Pro Logic II at best, neither are on par with the former. Aside from the obvious disadvantages the PS2 version has, it is still comparable to the Xbox version in terms of performance, however. In the case of this game, the Xbox version pulls ahead yet again with its superior performance, visuals, texture and sound quality, and exclusive headlights on the truck (5:13).
Admittedly, the Xbox versions of these games are not perfect. All three games do experience occasional slowdown when things get chaotic, but it’s minor and it doesn’t detract from the gameplay experience since the overall presentation is superior to the GameCube and PS2 versions.

Indeed, in terms of graphics, the Xbox version might win, but I think the average person with PS2 plays more of the PS2 version. Maybe the PS2 version is much more memorable for everyone, so I prefer PS2, hehe.. 😁👍
