I can live with the mic echo, but the more annoying thing, and you say it just a little too often, is that you didn't go live over tornadoes because they occurred in mostly rural areas. As a resident of rural America, believe it or not, we depend more on people like you and Ryan Hall for coverage of weather threats because we may have spotty or non-existent local TV channels. You do a great job, and I enjoy your channel, but please, ease up on the dismissal of rural areas.
I’m sorry! That so sucks! You have my sympathy! 😢 We had to go a week without power in Dallas when the “rain bomb” hit us a couple years ago. Since I moved north up 75, I don’t lose power from the storms like down in Dallas, anymore. Can you come up 75 a bit? We have power in McKinney and hotel rooms.
Please no more bad storms for Southeast Missouri!!! Noaa was in town yesterday and the tornado we had sunday was an EF3. It was so scary. Im still not sleeping good at night. I guess i have a little bit of PTSD from it. Nightmares all night long. I have never been that scared in all my life. My house and property is fine. It went about 5 blocks west of our house. So many others were not that lucky. Prayers for them please. Thanks Max for all that you do!!!!!
We're in southeastern Oklahoma and my wife is from AZ, she's scared to death of storms and tornados as well. I'm not scared of them as I have to hold down the family and we got a storm shelter but what helps us is our home is down in a ravine 20-25 feet in between two elevated ridge lines. We also planted 2 large red-maples trees behind our house only 6ft from the house they're facing the southwest to protect our home from in coming super-cells. We planted 6 more red and silver maple trees staggered on our 2.2 acre property they're coming up fast already 8-12 feet tall, they'll get huge. You have to fight nature with nature, plant large species of trees in front of your homes 20-60 feet out they'll help slow down the wind sheer. I have an idea for a new company building metal angle vortex wind blockers on the southwestern side of residential homes, cemented posts 4-6 foot into the ground with metal angled wind sheer diversion panels welded onto the posts. The panels would angle towards the roof line and go over the roof line by 4 foot!
Beaumont got hammered with wind and rain last night. Street flooded for the 2nd time this week. It is also trash day today, so everyone put their trash cans out last night. It’s was a trashy mess this morning.
NW Kansas last night we were treated to a ton of beautiful lightning and thunder, the rain just barely missed us north though 😑 here's hoping for rain today! Thanks Max!
We had a cold air funnel yesterday in North Idaho. We usually do not see them here . The weather is just unforgiving this year . So glad I can watch your forecasts and lives . Thank you for doing what you do.
God is good. God is my refuge and strength and my helper against my enemy. My enemy is God's enemy. God promised me tt his Hand will fight for me against the usa, my enemy. I prayed for relentless storms.
You sure are a HUGE blessing to us. I watched you on Saturday night when the tornadoes were coming through Arkansas. I’m in Rogers. I began praying protection over by home and my daughter’s home about 8 miles away. Prayed from 11:00 pm until about 1:00 when I had peace. The tornadoes came through about 1:45-2:00. Although Rogers was almost wiped out, my daughter and I had no damage and did not lose electricity. If I had not watched Max, I would not have known to start praying. Thank you.
Same here. I tell everyone about this channel. I'm so thankful and grateful for Max and his work ethic. He gives a great heads up. Rogers really got hit hard, Bentonville, Centerton...really sad.
@keisi1574 She wasn’t praying for the tornadoes to come. Read her post again. She said she knew the tornadoes were coming her direction because she was watching Max Velocity. She then started praying for protection. And she didn’t need to pray to any storm god, because she was praying to God - the god who is more powerful than any other god or power.
So glad you all are safe. I live in Southeast Missouri in Sikeston. Our tornado was sunday morning EF3. We were lucky also. No damage. However, so many were not as lucky. Prayers for Rogers Arkansas
