Borough of Sanctuary celebration event June 2024

Lewisham is proud to be the UK's first Borough of Sanctuary. We are an open and welcoming borough for migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
Our event at the Albany during Refugee Week 2024 was an opportunity to welcome our sanctuary seekers and celebrate the contribution they make to Lewisham.
