ON THE GROUND - Episode 10 - Moko Jumbie

Trinidad Carnival is one of the most spontaneous, energetic and spectacularly colourful street parades in the world and in the midst of a Covid-19 abridged season, it is hard not to take notice of towering figures on stilts striding across the streets in fluttering costumes showing off their acrobatic skills. But what about the man behind the stilts? 65 year old Bisnath Junior developed a passion for wood-carving at a young age and has always held that love throughout his life.

Junior is definitely a gem to this country . He represents us well. Every word he speaks there Is gospel . My son's are 32 26 and now my 13 year old now walks stick . However, his wife who we refer to as Miss she is invaluable to us all she is a beautiful lady . Thank you to the Bisnath family
