interesting how a few drivers feel like they are entitled to this road only, as if they owned that piece of land. I have news for you...it has been shared many times over. It is usually open on super busy holidays to break up the crazy traffic. If traffic is flowing you avoid it.....and the new plans for traffic control at LAX actually look very promising, I have met with the heads of that department and they have a game plan for LAX, but the true benefits will only be felt in 2 to 3 years time. Until then LAX remains a nightmare and each for their own.
Thanks for the advice! The fact still remains that I've saved passengers late to LAX. 15min, 20min, even 30min with shortcuts just so they can make their flight. No... damn..... TIP!
I knew exactly what you're talking about as soon as you said past the first ramp now everyone else is going to be taking this route I've kept this route a secret for 2 years
Tonight, at 11:30pm, LAX was very busy because of the inside lane closed. Uber navigation had me coming North on the 405, off on La Tijera, Left on Sepulveda Eastway, Right on Westchester, Left on Sepulveda Blvd and then on this route you are talking about.
it is no secret road...it is part of the LAX infrastructure and more and more drivers are using it...especially in traffic jams drivers follow other drivers to seek new routes. The good thing it will break the traffic up a lot.....and some drivers feel like it is their own road and should never be shared with others. No entitlements folks....break up the traffic and make it better for all
I took this road Thanksgiving weekend, an officer pointed it out to me. Here I thought I was special 🤣🤣 My rider and I thought "this road is probably only meant for them, and he gave me permission to be on it" lol that was the only time I used that road. 🤷♀️
No way could LAX be called small time. It has the 4th highest airport traffic in the world at 84 million passengers. In 2017, DFW passengers were 67.1 million to be the world's 12 largest.

I'm not in LA, but thank you for helping people.
Great advice, but if LA is anything like Chicago, they will close this secret road off very soon once they see lots more traffic using it...
But great

WOW! Excellent Tip! Thank you so much.
They will block soon for sure or put a sign
They have blocked it many times. On very busy days they open it up to break up the traffic

This is why he’s the Rideshare Professor folks

@@AskTorstenwhich means It's normally closed?
Great tip brother👍
Really great job with the channel. Awesome tip. NJ driver here. I should probably share some tips about working Newark Liberty International.
LAX, small time....DFW is about to add another Terminal. Everything is bigger in Texas
