I feel like I’m in a sticky situation. I have an elder cat who has always been yelly and clingy. But both have exceeded recently. Maybe it’s been slowly exceeding since her brother died a few months ago. But the thing is her and her brother never really paid much attention to each other unless I made them or they were fighting. She has also always been a lazy lap cat who never cared for heights and window stalking unless having zoomies. And when I play with her, she plays for like 2 minutes and quits. I do not know what to do about a naturally non-playful, lazy, height hating, window hating, clingy, territorial senior cat who seems to be not be enthused about other animals. None of the suggestions seem to fit my situation besides giving her attention. But I have to go work, I have indoor hobbies, and a boyfriend who I barely see. Realistically I can dote on her every minute of the day. Sigh idk what to do.
My older cat was alone a lot when I first moved out, but I got her another cat. She doesn’t really like him that much when he is hyper, but he gets her moving and she bathes him on occasion. She is less clingy now and is happy to not be home alone all day.
my youngest apollo ended up with bald patches after my dad passed away in september, he used to keep dad company at lot, curling up on dads bed and getting pets, i felt so bad for him and nothing i was doing seamed to help, i made sure he was eating, not hideing and checking his prefered litter box, its taken some time but hes starting to grow the fur back in the last few weeks and seams to be more receptive to being around people again he worried me so much.
My Ace is mostly quiet, however becomes quite talkative when his favorite person, my daughter, comes home from work. He'll meow and start seeking pets from my daughter. Ace also seems to know when it's time for my daughter to go upstairs for bed. He'll start hanging around the stairs and begin to look around for her.🐈⬛♠️
We had a cat become very clingy and irritable, but would always stay close, not like her usually, we tried more attention, different food varieties, this went on for a month, then we thought of testing her urine, turned out she had a UTI, got her treated and within a week, she was back to her usual self, chasing stuff randomly without explanation
I have two that at 2 am drag clothes off the drying rack, yowl as they drag the clothes through the house and into the bedroom, drop the clothing and go back for more.
I believe the band Yes featured a song on their 90125 album - "Owner of a Lonely Cat". Seriously, I have seen my cats seek out my company when I return from being away (at work, at a friend's place). Cats, like dogs, are social animals just like their social animal human family members.
I have the opposite problem. My cat doesn't give enough attention to ME. She's the softest sweetest smelling cat in the world but I rarely get a head butt or a face smear. She seems mostly to be interested in getting on the bed and biscuiting me. I guess I should be satisfied with that.

My cat meows following me around every morning like clockwork. This goes on for a couple hours, then he chills out. I adopted him 4 years ago and he has done this since day one. He has a brother so he can’t be lonely. 🤷🏼♀️😵💫
My cat is very high strung. I’m the only one she likes. I was away for a month during which her caretakers did not once see her! But her dishes would be licked clean and her litter used. Unfortunately, she overgrooms and does so all the time whether I’m there or not. Mostly, I’m home. She has no interest in other cats. She’s afraid of them. I play with her every day. She likes the leather mouse on a wire and the laser pointer.
My cat Taz would meow at the windows for hours so I got him a girlfriend and he was quiet then he ran off for three months after a vet visit and his girlfriend meow at the window got her a friend then she stopped meow three months later Taz came back a little skinnier and tired guess he sowed his wild oats and realized how good he had indoors
can anyone help me with this problem mycat peggy is 6 years old she started over gommingher belly when l got a new kitty it been a year since l got the new a the bottom of her belly has no hair what can l do to help her lm very worried about her
Don’t use a laser pointer-unless you want to drive your kitty nuts- cats need things to grab & chew & kick an object. It’s frustrating to them. Some lady said to me she uses one, & throws a fluffy toy when puss ‘gets the light.’ Sorry, not good enough. I’m sure she’s a lovely lady ( most cat people are big hearted, IF you totally love your furball.) CATS ARE THE BEST! 😻❤️❤️💫😺😍
This is exactly why I didn't continue playing with a laser with my cat. He'd never had one before and, although he loved chasing after it, he got SO frustrated not being able to actually catch something. Their chase/catch/kill drive is too strong to deny that.
@@Callidus7SSM OH LORD! I am NOT a mean or arrogant person, AT ALL. I said nothing mean. Maybe ‘my friend’, you want arrogance…. .? Please, NEVER cage a cat! Caging a cat is not a solution for behavioral issues like inappropriate urination-in fact, it actually makes things worse. Cats often pee outside the litter box because of stress, medical problems (like a UTI or bladder stones), or issues with their litter box (wrong location, dirty, or a type they don’t like). Instead of caging your cat, try identifying the root cause of the behavior. A trip to the vet can rule out health problems, and adjusting the litter box setup or cleaning routine can help too. Cats are sensitive creatures, and using a cage can lead to more anxiety or aggression, making the problem harder to solve in the long run. Patience, positive reinforcement, and a little detective work go a long way in building trust and resolving these issues! 😊
Why are you drawing cargo container ships. Instead of actually using real pictures of the real RMS TITANIC. And also using stupid AI art. Also you should have used real picture of the ship's interiors.
