Dude the way she just showed up in this trailer, it's a big deal. This is huge not only for Xmen, but for Storm as an individual mutant. It's time for her comeuppance!! (She officially joined the Avengers in the comic books this year, so it makes sense!)
It 100% will trickle into live action. Remember What If is a result of the breaking of the sacred timeline in Loki. Secret Wars will be the end of the multiverse saga so the multiverse will end because of the incursions but characters from a variety of universes will converge in a single world. This is how we will get the Fantastic 4 and X-Men in the main MCU universe. But they won't be the only ones, characters we have met during What If will join as well.
