What memories, I remember when I played this game with my older brother when I was 6 years old and he was 11, without lying we played the game about 20 times, we didn't have internet and we loved the game, Now that I'm an adult I downloaded the game on my computer and I can't even get to stage 4 hahahaha, but this game fills me with nostalgia, wat a good time I lived.

Im more red power up and the M missles. Raiden had an awesome soundtrack. I remember when I was younger I was at the laundromat nearby and after school I will run over there with dollars worth of quarters and just spend the afternoon blasting the enemies!
strategically and more correct : 1 player = purple weapon , for enemies everywhere 2 player = blue weapon , the piercing shot for the toughest enemies ( the weapon purple it's not as strong as the blue one )

They don't, because people know there are way better things to spend money on than blowing $30 in an arcade in one afternoon. Arcade games are far less economical and lost to the competition.
@@sarcasticguy4311 it trades attack power for lock-on allowing you to focus more on dodging. a fair trade off since you can loop the beam around to still wipe out the fodder.
@@Lorkanthal I've played through this game several times and have found the plasma laser sorely lacking. The spread gun always outdamages the plasma beam even when not concentrated. It's only use is killing single hit enemies but the spread gun can do that very easily as well. It's different since it's the second game but it's just so awful.
Did you use cheats Sir? I just found that the blue ship got shot at 4:24 (once) follow 4:25 (twice!) and then follow by red ship got shot too on 4:26 all by the ground tank on the left side of the screen. Can onyone confirm this too?

I personally prefer going chain laser and cruise missiles it does more damage use the secondary as your primary and the primary is your secondary if that makes sense
veeeery anxiety producing watching them not using bombs to shield themselves from impossible to dodge bullet situations, like a humen would. Also not even bother when you have like 4 weapon powerups constantly changing color and they camly keep firing and dodge the bullet AND the powerup so they dont change the color of the weapon they already have... nice video though

my first ever game as a kid, playing this single player was hard AF. having a friend or family to join you made it so much easier
This game, like so many others were by design, "quarter-monsters" to empty your pockets, but that said, it was SO MUCH FUN!

Honestly, I've always found the purple laser inadequate. At full power, even with 2players, tougher enemies take so much longer to kill.
It's clearly the worst weapon. I prefer point-blank with the spread gun.

Its weak because it pierces and moves with the ship. This is to eliminate enemies without diverting fire away from tough targets.
