Just found your channel and am loving your content so far! Was wondering if you could please tell me what brand electric pressure canner you have!
I broke the top of my glass top stove, trying to water bath can! Was going to buy a coil electric stove as a replacement - but, ended up with another glass top! 🙄
So, I really need one of the canner’s you have! You mentioned yours will hold 5 quarts and I haven’t seen one that holds more than four. Excited to get a big one!

Thank you SO much and welcome to our little piece of UA-cam my friend!!
Oh what a bummer about your glass top!! That’s tough!! I absolutely love my electric pressure canner! I’m going to link the one I have!

Another option you could try is canning outside on a propane burner for times when you have a larger batch needing preserved! You could do a single or double burner option! Best of luck friend!☺️

Pressure canner, I LOVE my Nesco, its very basic, only holds 4 quarts, 5 pints more if the are skinny taller pint and 1/2 jars.. you can stack smaller jars too. Around the holidays stores sell them around $100, so I bought 2😂 ( more canning space, I can use 8 quarts, but less cost than 2 of fancier canner)

How do you store your root veggies? Can you share your black bean brownie recipe? Lentil chocolate cupcakes are good too! Apparently you can make a flour from zucchini too! I rarely have enough to try it (vine borers) but would love to! Dont recommend the " bean flours" they tasted like raw beans...gross! But cooked beans really do pretty good in baking.

Great question!! We store most of our root veggies in our spare fridge in the garage. I have stored some outside in the winter 😅 but probably wouldn’t recommend that for our climate. As far as potatoes, winter squash, and sweet potatoes we store those in our unfinished basement. You had lots of super helpful info!! Thank you SO much!! I recently lost my recipe card for my bean brownies 😫 So we are going to try some Pinterest recipes and see if we can find one close! Then I will definitely share that here!!

@@raisingkingsfarm in your search, look for the lentil cupcakes. They taste like hostess, maybe the cooked lentils give it more flavor...like coffee does to chocolate.
