She is definitely singing live here. Why do you think she is lip syncing? She would never do that in front of a live audience. If she did, she would never get away with it. She has talent, knows how to use her voice and is a professional. Even music executives from Japan saw her talent. She signed a recording contract with CBS/Sony Japan. Singers from the 1970's and 1980's had so much more talent that the ones today.
