Great information Moni, great food at every price point in Kusadasi. My arkadas from Izmir says there are no really expensive restaurants in Kusadasi. You have to go to Izmir and Istanbul for those.
Colette your friend is probably not aware what the prices in restaurants were last year and what they are now. If you go to some of popular restaurants where the customers are mainly tourist you will see there is not much difference between prices there and in London!
These are the comments I have also heard from a lot of people coming to Kusadasi!

Anna.. The street is near Starbucks at Ilyada Avantgarde hotel on the seafront. There is a money change office on the left corner and a donar kebab on the other corner.
If you are looking at the Starbucks standing on the street next to Starbucks is a taxi place then Jimmy Key shop and then the money change office.

What a beautiful place ladies beach I’m there in may an so can’t wait to go back with my mum will be nice to see it for my self haw much it’s changed and can’t wait to go in the sea and for sure can’t wait to grab a wrap in the side cafes n also I’ll be going long beach as well maybe for morning or day don’t no till get there as long beach not that fair as can get the bus to it from Center and I’m sure it ruins on main road near this beach not to sure
right outside my hotel absolutely fab i will be 100% going down there x
