  • Ayutthaya Historical Park, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
    Text from Wikipedia:
Ayuttha was a Siamese kingdom that existed from 1351 to 1767.
Ayutthaya was friendly towards foreign traders, including the Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians, Japanese and Persians, and later the Portuguese, Spaniards, Dutch and French, permitting them to set up villages outside the walls of the capital, also called Ayutthaya.
In the sixteenth century, it was described by foreign traders as one of the biggest and wealthiest cities in the East. The court of King Narai (1656-88) had strong links with that of King Louis XIV of France, whose ambassadors compared the city in size and wealth to Paris.
The Ayutthaya Historical Park covers the ruins of the old city of Ayutthaya, Thailand.
The city of Ayutthaya was founded by King Ramathibodi I in 1350. The city was captured by the Burmese in 1569, though not pillaged, it lost many valuable and artistic objects.
It was the capital of the country until its destruction by the Burmese army in 1767.
In 1969 the Fine Arts Department began with renovations of the ruins, which became more serious after it was declared a historical park in 1976.
A part of the park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. Thirty-five kings ruled the Ayutthaya kingdom during its existence.
We kindly thank the authorities of Ayutthaya Historical Park for their permission to make this movie.

Benjamin Andrews Music some of the sites you can Just go and fly.
For the big one you have to go to the headoffice and pay a fee ($50) then you have permission to go at 06:00 AM and be done at 08:00 AM.
Be aware that new regulation in Thailand says that you need a permit from customs to bring tour drone into the country.

This is not not a buddist temples these are the temples dedicated to lord Ram from an India Story Ramayan return by Valmiki. Most of the Hindu temples in South asia is claimed by Buddist as their own. This was not their fault but due to their ignorance. there are many elements in east asia are working tirelessly to write off their glorious Hindu past. Still there is a place in the Indian state of Uttar pradesh by the name of Ayodya.

Siam empire ruled by Buddhist King since before establish of Ayutthaya empire (Sukhothai the former capital). All of these temple dedicated to Buddha but Buddhism in Thailand is same as every religions that have some influence from other religions and beliefs. You can find same situation from Christianity in Europe.
I'm sure this is common knowledge so I would say the one who ignorance in this case is you. You even confused Ayutthaya empire with khmer empire.
Anyway no one in Thailand try to write off hindu past, we know many Hindu belief exists in our belief and know that lord Ram and story of Ramayana are Hindu belief.
