I am a core driller for a local pre cast facility. Two hydrolic machines with 4 turret mounts for multiple bits. The largest I have cored was a 48" thru a 96" manhole. We use diamond bits thru Concut and Trelleborge. Very fun and knowledgeable field of work, I love it.
It's no different than what you do it's just a bigger bit with hydraulics lol. Give yourself more credit bro it's actually easier because the machine lifts everything you don't have to crawl up into a ceiling or hangover up pipe or carry your stuff up and down five flights of stairs for a lousy couple of holes because the elevator doesn't work yet. Don't forget about your helper that always just texting is never around to do his part of the work but he's the boss is Buddy so he gets to do whatever he wants so it's better to have a machine helping you and do bigger bits LOL
I've installed commercial water softners ,I've made stainless hoods for kitchens made cages for Coke machines and I've drilled many holes under driveways, but nothing compares to making holes in concrete
The biggest I've drilled was a 54". You made that 60" look easy. More guys should utilize those stability side wheels like you guys do. Nice job. I was just curious why the second bit was used. Did the segments glaze over from all that monster rebar?
I was wondering that too , would be very expensive 2 bits per hole , i reead somewhere you can deglaze them by running through soft brick material is this correct ?
Awesome Work! im so surprised how small the drill is! i imagined a giant Machine powering the Bit. is the drill Hydraulic fed? things a Beast! Great video Bro Thanks for Sharing!
Everything is going good, been swamped with concrete cutting systems, the core bit business is slow but got all the equipment set up and found a really nice segment that has been drilling really well. How's Florida treating you??
I have been checking on line for the proper RPM to core drill a 18 inch hole in a rock. i read that the bigger diameter of a bit, the slower the RPM. Looking at that drill go, it looks like it goes way more than 200 RPM. what should be the speed for 18 inch bit?
Please note that we drilled through #10 reinforcing steel on 6" centers as well as some steel on vertical angles. Drill ploughed through with no issues.

Would have been interesting to see exactly what they were drilling this for and the rest of the process of it
Thank you for showing how true professionals work!
Damn guys. Good job. I thought I was a bad ass core driller but you made my work look like child's plays

I know right? Hhere I was thinking my 6 inch core drill bit was massive, but here they have 10x the size lol
This is ancient advanced technology right here but nobody wants to admit it
wow. these concrete cutting companies have some amazing equipment. if there is a way to guide the bit they can cut anything.

I'm a saw cutter locally to and I'm amazed. Great work
Very nice guys! One of the best vids I've seen too
Thank you much appreciated.

@@Cagmito125sportsbikespares yes
My biggest so far is 60 inches x 24 depth good video cheers
Pretty wild coring action there

Superb job
AWESOME Video, Nice Cores too.
How are you Pat...how is your business?

Bad-Assery!
I was expecting a big hammer drill lol
The symbol for feet is ' and for inches is "
Very GOOD!

good job! i to like how you guys use the wheels on the side of the can ....great idea. (( Flintstone )) just kidding good job guys
Nice job
How do you build a underground retaining wall from wood?
Can you show some picture of Dan' build?
how much money did you take
Can I use that to drill the sink knock out in my kitchen?😁
that is a cut!
How is the core fractured at the bottom in order to lift and remove it?
Sledgehammer and chisel, usually the core will snap if it’s more than 1/2 the length of slab
super.....
Awsome
wow
Biggest I ever did was a 48"
why do you not have ear protection lmao?
Hello, wonderfull. Please how long time to realize the full coring ?
The coring process took approximately one 10 hour shift for 60" x 48" deep.
Please note that we drilled through #10 reinforcing steel on 6" centers as well as some steel on vertical angles. Drill ploughed through with no issues.
ok thank
wouah impressionant!! jamais encore fait
Drilled hole complete in 4 hours
That is some drll bit.
How does the bottom get cut?
They drilled all the way through the slab
What´s the gear setup?
why no gloves or glasses on the operator, lol

Shame it didnt come out whole
so how is this hole going to change my life?
