Daneliya Tuleshova is from Kazakhstan, same as Dimash. There are many videos from her earlier years. She won the Ukrainian The Voice Kids. She is amazing.
Daneliya has the greatest voice of her generation. She has a unique tone and texture with an amazingly controlled vibrato. The arrangement and production were genius. She pronounces he name Duh-nell-ee-yuh.
Daneliya!❤ She’s awesome, thank you for listening. She graduated high school, and she’s about to have what will probably be a critical year. It’s going to be an interesting journey to watch.
Daneliya just graduated last weekend. Shes releasing new original music at a good rate, 3 songs in the last 6 month's with another original coming out June 13th. Please check out her other works, i think you will truly enjoy. In my opinion Daneliya is the greatest singer of this century.
I am a big Angelina Jordan and The Warning fan but I really like Daneliya as well, she started really young like Angelina, and became very popular in Kazakhstan and Eastern Europe. This mash-up is one of my favorites, of many songs that she has done. She has a newer song that is an original that I love and it is "Tied". In this song she gives an emotional story of being a child star and how tied you are to that image and yet it is part of who you are. I really feel for her in this song, hope you will react to that, I think it will help to set up her newer songs.
By coincidence I've been starting to request her too. She took off during her talent show days, and has over 1.5 million subscribers, but lost some traction over the last few years. However, she's starting to put out her own co-written songs, and I think the world should definitely start paying attention again. One of my favorite covers by her is Billie Eilish's "Hostage."
Her last name bent us a bit too. The West emphasizes the 3rd syllable, while her region seems to emphasize the second. She explained that she dropped the last name for her label to cut us some slack (my twist).
I have watched some videos of her on The Voice Kids a few years ago and she has always had a much bigger voice than her stature. She has done pretty well from what I can tell but I still think she is underrated for her talent.
My thoughts? Lots of talent, a great music teacher, she having a good ear, makes her music nice to listen to. Most normal humans don't understand how or what she does, but we like it.
Jessie this is the other half of the two young girls I ran across in November of 2017. Daneliya was first then three nights later at the same time 2-3 am I found Angelina. I was so blown away by both of them. They have both learned so much in the intervening years. Daneliya is 6 months younger than Angelina and almost a foot shorter at about 5'2". But Daneliya's vocal control is staggering. She has sung around the world and given she is from Kazakhstan she's had to get her name out there. Daneliya to me is better live than a studio production. Daneliya was 15 when she recorded this song. Like Angelina there are many hand-held recordings of live events. She is an audience favorite and cameras devour her. She moved to the U.S. two weeks after her 16th birthday. This she did without any family going with her. I think she was tired of other people telling her what to sing. So, after going through three groups of management/creative consultants, who wouldn't stop to listen to her, she has found a group out of Toronto that she commutes to work with. The main members are Bryan Van Mierlo, Kendra Shan Lal, Myya Lal, Dominique Mario Dias, Bryn McCutcheon and Kirstyn Johnson. She is just coming out with her fourth original song and MV Thursday June 13th. I have left out so much. She just finished High School in Boston. I have a feeling though that a move is coming after she turns 18 on July 18th. I'm not sure she likes LA enough. She had appearances on three singing competitions that were not satisfying. So, she just might stay East Coast and she seems to like New York. Maybe that's changed with the social climate the way it is. Wherever she sets down she is going to make her mark. She is, like Angelina, grown into a startlingly beautiful woman. But it is her voice that wins hearts and minds. ua-cam.com/video/1kN3TUPMj90/v-deo.html Daneliya 17 'It's Only Pain' by Daneliya original music. Listen to it no need to react except in private.
So glad Clinton lead you to young Ms. Daneliya [Da Nel Lee Yah] Tuleshova [Too Le Show Vah]! Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis. Thank you. Strongly recommend three more. First, The Voice Kids Ukraine (she's from Kazakhstan, and knows Dimash) in 2017 when she was 10yo. Started singing lessons when she was 8 going on 9, so had been learning for 18 months by this performance. AMAZING! This particular vid has English subtitles added so we get lots more out of it. ua-cam.com/video/jGUqIU6u8Ew/v-deo.html Second, after she'd spent years competing and representing Kazakhstan in world competitions, she moved to North America without her parents at 16yo and competed on AGT: The Champions in 2020: ua-cam.com/video/BkJvBbchd4A/v-deo.html Third, one of her latest original music videos, "It's only pain": ua-cam.com/video/1kN3TUPMj90/v-deo.html Daneliya is the youngest of three young ladies whom I believe are truly SPECIAL onstage, they bring something MORE to their performances, and you FEEL every emotion on the ride through the story they're telling you with each song. ESPECIALLY with their own songs. Each of them began YOUNG, and each made extensive use of their grandparents' records and of UA-cam for truly studying their musical heroes. While all of them cross genre lines with impunity, each of them tends to stay in their own unique lane. Ms. Daneliya Tuleshova (17) tends towards the latest pop, usually with a hard edge to it. Ms. Angelina Jordan (18) tends more towards jazz and especially blues, with some R&B and even some rock, always in UNIQUE arrangements in which she's had the leading hand since she was no more than 7yo. You already know our barefoot princess. Ms. Angelina is 6 months older than Ms. Daneliya. You've already reacted to AJ's latest, "If I Were a Boy": ua-cam.com/video/vMKFgd3roZo/v-deo.html Ms. Courtney Hadwin (19) tends more towards blues rock, punk rock, soul, and blues (IMHO), so closer to Ms. Angelina's lane than to Ms. Daneliya's lane. Frankly, I think the three of them COULD collaborate on several songs, even on an album, together. At the moment, I believe only Ms. Courtney is currently indie again. All three were signed YOUNG (around 14yo). Each has had both successes and disappointments already in their young professional lives. Strongly recommend you take a look at Ms.Courtney's performance of "Piece of My Heart" at 41st NY Pops Birthday Gala celebrating Mr. Clive Davis' career in bringing phenomenal music to the public through the record labels he's managed, including celebrating his signing of Janice Joplin. In honor of Janice Joplin, he personally invited Ms. Courtney to open the celebration with this performance. I'd say she did her best to channel Janis! This particular video is a mashup from two perspectives on this performance: the shorter 'official' video posted by Ms. Courtney and an unofficial audience video from the balcony which starts earlier and ends later so we see and hear everything from when she comes onstage until she goes offstage. What is NOT shown is the wild audience reaction and the standing ovation as she finished her performance. Not at all bad for a 19yo on her first performance at Carnegie Hall! ua-cam.com/video/gDM9jYavLqA/v-deo.html 3Queens of GenZ Music, IMHO. I truly believe these three young ladies are going to OWN the industry in time.
"Dialed in." Can't argue there. My favorite is her Tears of Gold then, maybe, Runaway, and this. I'm still deciding on her new (original) music; I hear more music than voice/lyrics. Mood doesn't mean as much to me as it does many fans.

Enjoyed your reaction to this video, I really hope you continue to react to more of Daneliya's music.
This was outstanding, Daneliya doing what she does best, blowing our socks off with her vocals.
This is such an awesome mash-up pure genius from Daneliya and her team! Thanks for the great reaction and comments.

I just looked, and her name is pronounced Dawn AY LEE UH, I've been pronouncing it wrong too. One of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. ❤️

I've had a crazy theory: I think she intimidates the industry.
My thoughts? Lots of talent, a great music teacher, she having a good ear, makes her music nice to listen to. Most normal humans don't understand how or what she does, but we like it.

She definitely needs a band.
With Dimash as a back vocal 😁
Actually, she went to Boston, then came to Canada to record. Who would have thought. She is still busy in Toronto, now she has finished school.
