month later, I have to ask, how many characters are allowed in the app formerly named twitter for a user name? Did you just hold the '0' hit the limit ,then backed up one?
Glad you enjoyed it! I too had never come across it. It's amazing that the ST is really old and there are still manay, many new facets of it that are unknown to many.
One potential contender would be Gemini desktop, but I have yet to find an English localization. I saw it years ago on a Mega STe (friends machine who was running a local BBS) and was impressed how he had it configured (this is 30+ years ago though)
Geminii was my desktop of choice for quite a while back then. I liked the combination with the Mupfel cli tool. i most likely will do a Geminii video at some point but it's only ever going to be another also ran, unfortunately
Well it kind of does. At least on a surface level. When you get down into the weeds it falls apart bit. Once thing I remember from using an ST back in the day was that your German got better!
You can never have too many 0s in your username! Thanks again for your great coverage of the sadly neglected "poweruser" world of the ST.
Your very much welcome. Thanks for planting a seed !

@@DeadCat-42 I only use this on UA-cam. It was just a guaranteed way to get a unique name without having to be creative.
Thanks for making this! I'd never heard of Kaos (or maybe didn't pick upon it if I had) back-in-the-day, but I would have been very keen to try it.

I would love to see a video of real usage of this Atari vs it's Mac equivalent of back then.
that's an interesting idea, it'd be interesting to comapare a Falcon to a Mac that came out in the same year.
@@commodoreisnottheonlyfruit exactly!
We can chat on this request, have some points that should make it great.
Good Video and good summary, shame Kaos Desktop didn't have an English resource file
