The girls gave up a lot in their personal lives to stay 100% focused on music from an extremely young age. They have always been wise far beyond their years with a family environment that keeps them very level headed. Besides all that, Ale is just one cool cat!
For their ages their use of musical terms and explantions shows they have years of experience . .
What a great future ahead . . Theyve just celebrated 10 years . . Thats longer than The Beatles . .
The girls are not just gear heads they are technicians.
Ale used to play Fender basses, until a fan gifted her a pair of used Spectors. She hasn’t looked back since.
The irony ,thunder rooster reacting to the godess of thunder
Ale will soon be recognized as one of the very best Bassists out there today! At 19years old she plays with a maturity and style that you don't see very often. And just like her sisters, she is extremely kind and humble. Happy Birthday to Dany!
Her playing and her sound are such a strong part of the band’s sound. She has a unique approach. All 3 of those girls seem like such sweethearts, their parents did an amazing job with them.
She legit reminds me of John Entwistle. Not even blowing smoke. She's got that vibe.
@@jasonremy1627 Don’t take this as a dig at Entwistle, because I’m a huge fan of him, but I think Ale might play with more feeling than him. Not a LOT more, but she’s only 19. She’s something special.
@@corneliuscrewe677 no, I get it. I don't like comparing and saying who is better then who, but she does a lot of the same kind of "lead bass" playing that he did.
@@jasonremy1627 That is for sure. I just meant it seems like her playing comes from a place of emotion, and I’ve always felt Entwistle’s cool demeanor always came through his playing. Not emotionless, per se, but more analytical. Of course, I imagine a lot of the differences stem from how different the two bands are. The Who were always antagonistic towards one another, and they fed on that, whereas the Villarreal sisters are very much arm in arm and supportive of one another. Ale doesn’t have to fight Pete Townshend and frakkin Kieth Moon for space 😆😆
David Bendeth, their producer for their last album has said that Ale is one of the most technical bassist he has ever seen and she could hang with the best of them. She will be recognized someday as one of the best just like her sister Pau who got voted as Best Rock Drummer of 2023 in the Drumeo poll last week.
I know I’m gonna sound like a creepy old man, but I could listen to Ale just say her name, and I say that purely because she has a beautiful speaking voice as well as her singing voice. I love the Warning, they are the future of good rock.
As she mentioned she doesn't have Mesa at home. Both she and her sister Dany have sponsorships from Orange & that is what they have in their home studio.
There is a video of her receiving this bass, during the pandemic, while recording error at 15 years old. And has her own signature version at 18.
Are you sure cause Spector asked her to do a photoshoot with her new 5 string and they also had the 4 string signature model she took pictures with it was called "Golden Thunder" model and had the "Warning" thunderbolt on it, that was done right after they gave her the new bass while they were recording "Error" album in New Jersey. (ua-cam.com/video/lq6q5riGdbE/v-deo.html) and (ua-cam.com/video/1meCiLbk2lg/v-deo.html)
Ale is a phenomenal bassist and she is only 19!!
Happy 24th birthday to Dany!!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Ale is awesome.
Ale (Alejandra) 🎸🎤is 100% 🔥 Greetings from Argentina
The sisters consider Ale to be their stage mother. She is the solid rock of the trio. Her timing is freakish, and she has perfect pitch, so she is not against getting on Pau when she is pushing or pulling. One quick glance from Ale is all it takes. 😂
She is very technical in her playing style, practicing jazz pieces to keep her skills sharp. She did recently lament not having enough time off to work on her skills, but that is life on the road I guess. I think of the three sisters, she is probably the most naturally gifted player. If you ever watch her fret hand, she is capable of shockingly immense stretches.
Watch the video of her teaching Dany how to play Z on bass. Her hands are so much bigger than Dany’s.
Yes, I’ve seen a few reactors pause the video, zoom in on her fret hand and go "Dude… WHAT THE FUCK⁉️"
@@jayhegener3028 yep! but then go back to their 2014 *Enter Sandman* cover and watch Dany in the solo... she stretches that little finger waaay out on the strings a time or three before switching over to her ring finger on those same strings for the bend coming up 😉
Ale is the rock
She has a nick name of The Thunder Child or Thunder Goddess.
I've been calling her "Thunder Girl" since I first dived down the rabbit hole 6 years ago.
For those watching, he’s right any heaviness commonly, but heavy wood isn’t the only way to get sustain… heaviness is a side effect of some high sustain woods. Rigidity and lack of interference resonance frequencies causes sustain. Heavy is a side effect of some woods that sustain well, but isn’t necessary. The most important thing is to use hard wood laminates to counteract the natural resonances of a single type of tone wood.
Happy birthday Daniella
I am not a musician, but they recently played 2 new unreleased songs during a couple of shows in Mexico and on the song Hell You Call A Dream her bass sounds amazing, so whatever she is doing, for me it is working.
Ale es una de las mejores bajistas de rock del 2024 ,es una bajista de calidad
Don't worry about rambling, we're here to listen to what you have to say about her gear or anything else that pops in your head.
Exactly. We like to hear what people who know about this stuff think. Listen to their opinions. One of the reasons to watch reaction videos.
They are all sweethearts but serious rockstars
Ale es pieza importante dentro de Warning. Excelente bajista ya renombrada a sus 19 años ....tendra un futuro muy reluciente !! ❤❤❤
She maybe the quietest, the youngest, and perhaps more reserved of the band, but she's a solid bass player, skilled, and does a marvellous job of taking up the slack and filling the spaces (when Danny plays lead for example) especially being a three piece. Her timing is always spot on too, which you can appreciate when listening to their live performances. As a bass player, I can truly appreciate her talent. Thanks for reacting to this video, loved it - another thumbs up from me! Although I've watched all these videos previously, it's nice to see/hear your reaction and I can always watch them again … and again!!! Thanks for taking the time.
It’s fun as just a rudimentary hobby musician to see the different gear people use. Dany and Pau have been doing these gear rundowns for years but these new ones are cool as their equipment evolves over time. Thanks.
Ale started so young.. you know when you get older. You think back to find your first memories.. I bet when she does it . Her first memories will be Piano & a Bass guitar.. probably nothing before that... 🤟🎶☮️
maybe watching Dany and Pau playing Rock Band? 😜
The pre is a usa 18v Haz… she mentioned that in a video some years back
Ale is amazing- they all are! I’ve been fortunate to meet them, their parents and Rudy and they are all such great individuals. 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
Ale is an excellent bassist, but many people don't usually pay much attention to the bass. I would really like The Warning to have a song where the bass stood out as a leading instrument, beyond the usual rhythmic part (more than in More).
I don't know if you have seen it, but there is a fan cam by Tom deBlonk of a concert they opened for Halestorm in Phoenix in 2022. He uses a Iphone so the video is 4K and an external mic to pick up the base. The band is at about half volume, but clear and the bass was about double volume. You can hear every note for all nine song of the set. It is awesome...
The other 2 are great, also. Looking forward to seeing you check them out.
Excellent my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ale! 😎
I know nothing about instruments so this was like a foreign language to me lol but still enjoyed it
She plays with an unusually high action. I am not sure why.
Most likely for the attack.
@@ThunderRooster I am not a bass player. How would you define the attack.
@@roywall8169 hitting the notes. If the action was lower it would be clanky sounding.
@@ThunderRooster gotcha. Thanks.
Drumeo: Pau... The Best Drummer of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best *Rock* drummer... "Best Drummer" is a different category 😉
🤘🤘

You need to react to Bad Omens. Noah ( the lead singer) has such an incredible range from cleans to harsh vocals. I’d recommend “DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND” or “Like A Villian”
