- You never know what's going to happen when there are so many things going on. I had a suspicion that something had gone wrong and I was correct. So as long as no one was hurt it's time to recover the dozer. Thanks for watching and have a pleasant day.
If one of my kids did that, they’d be digging it out with a shovel. I’m a great dad.

Nice gentle recovery. Some scratches on the paint, but probably zero damage.
Would have been better to pull it out though. A chain from the bucket to the tow hitch gives great control.
You will learn as you go.

Makes me think of “where’s my dozer”. The bucket wheel excavator in Germany that accidentally picked up a CAT d10 and dumped into the material discharge.

Very lucky it was not in a Utility Rich Area. Gas & water, electric cables, sewer & storm sewers, make things much more complicated. Well coordinated Operator, very experienced. Not his first Rodeo! The dozer operator is now experienced! Construction is dangerous, drugs are not recommended! 👍🏻
Dozer operator didn’t see the drop off because of the vegetation my guess....nice recovery.

Yes, he was a big help. He refrained from waving his arms around and just left the digger driver to get on with his job. Nothing more annoying than blokes on the ground trying to drive the machine with hand signals.
They make HD straps...
You need to hire someone that knows how to run a dozer. Inexperienced hands cost alot of money in the long run

A guy I played sports with was knocked off his dozer and went under the tracks. Took a day to recover his body due to where the dozer was.

Looks like CA,. one of the more difficult terrains to operate earth moving equipment around in until after a right away is been established. happens a lot.
First sign of mainly playing and not working (running a piece of machinery at idle , it doesn't make it less likely if doing damage, in turn your ACTUALLY destroying a pump)

I think 5 extra minutes digging on the uphill side of the overturned dozer would have saved you having to pull on the ripper (which doesn't hurt anything I know) but allow you to let the dozer settle back on its tracks. at 1:36 she would have settled flat. Just an opinion, probably completely unwanted at that :) lol thanks for the video bros, it takes time and effort from an already apparently hectic day!!!!!!

If I was running that excavator I would of dug out some more before I would of tried flipping it back. Would of laid over nice then.

Can't understand why if the excavator had all the reach the operator didn't push on the dozer blade instead of pushing on the rippers at an unintended angle.

And in the end the Excavator is the best over all machine. I have seen operators do a better job than operators with backhoes or dozers in shorter time.

good RECOVERY not sure why dozer free rolled must be direct drive.Power shift transmission do not free wheel easley.
I wouldn't have gotten near that edge in a dozer without a full load in the blade - Could have made a nice easy slope down the hill.

Mike Baxter when you operate a dozer in snow conductions you put a double row of bolts , through the pads , one on each side of the rollers, that stick up higher than the grousers, so you don't slide sideways. You uncle should have known this !
