1st: I don't know where you got the idea you have a high speaking voice Seph. All you need is some ear gages and a face piercing and you're all set Seph 🎶🎸🎶 to Rock On 💯 I mean no offense, none at all. I hope you know that Seph 🙏 Okay, right, moving on now... 1st: I didn't hear Seph mention having a high speaking voice in this video. Was that from another video or side conversation? 2nd: The beard is looking fantastic. Really it's all I can do to keep from staring at it the entire time. 3rd: When Seph takes off the Santa hat at the end to reveal his bratty-boy slicked up hair and then proceeds to run his fingers through it....... oooooohhhhhh! At this point, do I even need to finish the sentence?! 😉
@@balovett Hey Brad! Yes that was from another conversation back when Seph was still reacting to the movie soundtrack songs from "Frankie And Johnny". Seph had said that he thought his speaking voice was "high". I assured him then that it wasn't and I thought that he had a lovely speaking voice. Bratty- boy hair cut 😅 That's quite descriptive Brad. I love it! Brilliant play of words right there! Hey I have zero problem with complimenting someone. I'm just putting down the very thing I'm thinking anyway. And since it is complimentary why not communicate that sentiment? Just a thought: Have you ever thought of trying your hand at creative writing? Like poetry or short stories or something? You have a wonderful way with words you know 😉
@@sammy_the_uncool2702 I love Seph's voice. It's so expressive. He has such range. When he gets excited, he'll move into his upper register with increased intensity and a sped up the cadence with a slightly distorted timbre while his eyes and face tighten. And when he gets serious or sad, his voice drops in pitch, softens, and slows while his eyes widen and his eyebrows rise and fall. And his more conversational voice is frequently accented with little side-mouthed interjections and head tilts, nods, and shakes to emphasize humor, excitement, or absurdity. Lots of gesticulations and hand-on-chest-plants to express deep emotional connection to something. For all of these reasons and more, it's clear to me that Seph would be a very talented actor and/or comedian. Regarding your comment about complimenting, I have a great deal of trepidation about this, hence why I wrote, "do I even need to finish the sentence?" Seph has been an extraordinarily good sport with me so far, but I'm cognizant there's a point at which it's enough and he'll probably be too polite to say so out loud. That said, I couldn't help myself when I saw your complimentary words here, and hence I used them as an excuse to sprinkle on a few additional words of praise of my own. You are too kind regarding my writing. It really is just a reflection of Seph.
@@balovett On you being cognizant of there being a point at which there's enough: I do apologize Brad. I am speaking from my own experience as a woman. Yes I can well imagine that for you it is a bit of a pickle at times (no pun intended of course hehe) for you to fully express yourself. Yes Seph has been nothing but a wonderful sport but you do know he has called you "two of his favorite people"? You & Seph are both lovely people and I can honestly see why Seph would put you in such high regard 💖 Too this is just my own humble opinion but I do think that you are being very modest Brad. Very kind and lovely, yes, but also modest 😊 I should add here that I do not go around complimenting men at random. There's a lot of assumptions that can be made on the man's end which then can be awkward at best. But again because Seph is a different sort of gentleman I feel entirely and totally comfortable complimenting him and too expressing concerns for his health as well at times. He's the best 💎👌 And so are you my brother from another mother 😉
@@sammy_the_uncool2702 Oh yes... it definitely is a pickle of sorts... 🥒 The other day I watched Seph's reaction to Madonna's "Angel". He asked his viewers if they had ever told someone that they were an angel. I immediately thought of you and our epic initial peanut butter and jelly conversation. I couldn't remember if I used the word angel. Well, upon review it looks like I opted for "saint", but let me be clear, you are an angel.
"Give thanks for all you've been blessed with, and hold your loved ones tight..." such beautiful lyrics. I love this song and the way EP sings it. A mixture of gospel and Christmas. It's a banger. ⚡🥇
Beautiful Lyric's! That's Something that we need to do more often! Too often we get too busy to take the time to spend time with our Loved Ones! ❤❤❤❤❤! Love Elvis ' beautiful voice!!
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs by Elvis. Sweet. Really puts in you in the Christmas spirit. He makes you feel the silence and peacefulness of the night, and the beauty of the snow on the ground and Christmas lights surrounding you. P.S. I did once use Elvis's gospel to help me relax so I could sleep.
I love this one! It's so soothing. Thanks for bringing us Christmas in June, Seph! How could listening to Elvis sing Christmas songs in the summer possibly lead to bad luck?!
Another beautiful Christmas song with a lovely arrangement! Seph, thank you for the "Christmas in June", it was so much fun & you really captured the holiday spirit to a tee! Well done! 👍😄❤
No bad luck for you, Seph. NO WAY! I believe his Christmas songs (most) sound like gospel because Christmas was his favorite holiday and he felt the sacred vibes present in most of the songs. It IS magical to listen to. Elvis sings me to sleep every night and wakes me up if I have to set an alarm.❤❤❤
I wish Elvis had recorded a Christmas LP with all sacred carols. It would have been thrilling if he had sung "O Holy Night" and other Christmas classics. He could have included updates of two of the ones he did in 1957 : "Silent Night" and "Little Town Of Bethlehem."
Elvis' favorite music was gospel. Christmas his favorite holiday. Christmas is a very Christian holiday. So yes, I'm sure he got much the same feeling from singing Christmas songs as straight gospel.
Yes a nice reaction Seph on a set of songs difficult for me to fully get into this time of year, but mostly enjoyable. Regarding the 1957 Christmas Album against this I prefer the 1957, earlier in the day, and this for more relaxed late night listening.
I also hear the close-micing of Elvis' voice. Nice explanation of the intimacy that it produces. Are you using the mic on your laptop to capture your audio? You produced an ASMR effect there with your demonstration that I'm hoping you will repeat often. (3:46) "That was pretty the way that ended. Like a really soft ending. I would have loved this man to sing me to sleep... like a lullaby. Like just sing to me and I'll fall asleep. I'll fall asleep once you've finished singing." (5:23) What a lovely picture you painted there. Gave me warm and fuzzy tingles.

I feel so lucky having parents who raised me on EP. These Christmas songs are my youth. It’s the memories that are always present. 👑✌️

Elvis’ voice just screams Christmas memories in this song! It’s a soothing, warm fuzzies, sit by the fireplace sound. His voice is so inviting!
My favourite from this album
This is one of my favorite Christmas song ! The way ELVIS sing this song is so stunning! ❤ Thank you Seph!
Yay another 💣 I absolutely love this song - so christmasy and Elvis just makes it feel that he is singing to you alone - gorgeous ☃🎄🎅
Elvis Bluesy Christmas 🎄 is my favorite, if I had to choose. This one is a BANGER though. Lol ❤
What a beautiful song and EP's voice is sublime, as always. My favorite season as well.... Christmas 🎄🕊️💯⚡❤️

Another highlight on the album!! I don’t recall you playing The Wonderful World Of Christmas ??
It's on definitely here on the channel. But it could be blocked in your part of the world? The copyright owner blocked it in over half the world 😭

Elvis' favorite music was gospel. Christmas his favorite holiday. Christmas is a very Christian holiday. So yes, I'm sure he got much the same feeling from singing Christmas songs as straight gospel.
