Your videos are so helpful! I’m having twins in December and I didn’t use newborn cloth with my son. We used cloth for 4 years though so I thought I was a pro… I’m lost with the newborn stage 😂 Thanks for all your help!

Id love to know if any of the preflats you have would work well for overnight as an alternative to fitteds!

Fruit of the womb has XL preflats which means they are like double the length of a traditional preflat. You fold that all up to make it a double layer in the body of the diaper and it's essentially a built in doubler. They're a little pricey, but so soft and a really cool design I haven't seen elsewhere.

Yes, they fit under the stump, but it was a little close. I really liked the fit once baby lost the umbilical stump and got over the 8 lb mark though. 👍

I can’t wait to try the green mountain fitted diapers on our newborn that’s coming soon. It’s good to know to just size up to mediums…hopefully I remember when the time comes!
I don’t think I’ve seen you review Nickies brand diapers (at least I don’t remember). That’s pretty much the only brand we’ve stocked up on for both newborn and one size covers. She just had a crazy good sale so I ended up buying one size AIOs for like $6 each I think. Kinda regretting buying them as I didn’t even research them and turns out they are microfiber (which is something I had been trying to avoid). Plus I feel like most cloth UA-cam channels mention out peeing AIOs when baby is pretty young. Not sure if it’s true it just seems to be something I’ve noticed.
I am thinking once baby is bigger and fits one size and I’m ready to try more options I might buy some pockets. Just wondering why you like pockets more this time around? When I first started researching cloth I thought I’d go with pockets but I just feel like they’d be a bit harder to get poo off the elastic area and then get more wear and tear washing the pocket cover part more often than just covers. Plus it meant buying more diapers versus just a few covers.

Lipstick is UD Backtalk but it's old, not even sure if they have it anymore. 😄
As for pockets, I just find them easier for the small baby days this time. I can still use my favorite flats for inserts. My husband prefers them. I loved flats and covers on my older two, but honestly, a pad folded flat can sometimes shift around inside of the cover and make it a little annoying to put on a smaller kiddo.
I have reviewed Nickis one size cover. It's one of my favorites actually.
I've tried a Nickis AIO (I think the bamboo) and wasn't a big fan of the rolled elastics.
