Thank you for supporting us!
Same here!!! I completely agree 🇺🇦
Imagine the nerve of the US to ask UA not to target Russian energy . This is how you hurt them.
I'm disgusted with them and I'm an American They have no right, especially after holding up funding! Shame!
Less global supply equals higher prices globally equals inflation
USA does not want that, especially with election in November
That did not happen. Please stop spreading Russian disinformation
Excellent reporting and discussion with knowledgeable experts on this channel. Slava Ukraini
Victoria Nuland 🇺🇸 warned there would be suprises for Russia. There were warnings of terror attacks after she was dismissed from her position probably to exonerate Israelistan 🇺🇸 ISIS was created by Israelistan 🇺🇸 Shitstain 🇬🇧 and Israel amazing how they only attack countries Israelistan 🇺🇸 calls enemy. Fierce Muslim Jihadi's and no help for Palestinine FYI Al Baghdadi their leader was a Jew named Simon Elliot. Tower 21 in Jordan a military camp is where Israelistan trains terrorists including ISIS. Putin knows exactly who runs ISIS will there be action. Israelistan should have been driven out of Syria years ago. Take action when action is due or suffer the consequences. It appears the west still considers Putin an inept fool and acts accordingly.

Peace to Ukraine!
Peace ???
Thank you for your great reporting! I watch from America doing my best to understand what's going on in Ukraine.
Please write your law makers and tell them to send aid to Ukraine.
I'm not surprised that they started losing some of their refineries. They should just focus on making a peace plan in the region for global security.
@@ryanthompson1981 I have been actively calling them and urging other Americans to do so. I'm disgusted with my government!
Thank you for your support.

Thank you so much, Kyiv Independent and Anastasiia Lapatina. Very informative and good questions for Marcel Plichta, Lots of great background on drones and the effectivity of attacking oil facilities. There's a lot more to this topic than I understood before watching your interview. Kudos. Rock on.
Thank you!
Slava Ukraine!!!
With young people like this, the future has hope.
Great Show! I'm looking at the future of broadcasters!
Thank you!
Thank you.
Thank you for your local views of the Ukraine war against the Russian invasion.
Russia out of Ukraina.
Good video

Always interesting themes. Thanks!

Great information, I watch every week!
Good video good detail
Thank you!
Russia banned gasoline and diesel exports for the second time, so we have a pretty good idea of the impact these strikes would cause, and they are neglegible at best. Russia's gas production is mostly for internal market anyway, that's why none of these bans affected the price of gas in the rest of the world, nor will they now.
Could banning exports have anything to do with keeping the Russian population supplied and thus, relatively unaffected by the impacts of war?
Nah, its to keep the military afloat, then the Russian population. In that order. That's why there's a ban on exports. Worldwide oil prices will rise, not substantially as there are plenty of other sources out there and Russia isn't selling as much oil as before. They can't even be paid in roubles
@@diilouise Didn't I just point out exactly that?
@@yesand5536 Yea, I think that's pretty much what I said. "Internal market" includes all the things russia uses their own gasoline for.
@yanec9806 if you did, I missed it.
Good guest informative
Thank you!
Always a great podcast
It's confirmed!!!... goodness gracious the brave warrior underground foxes of the SBU loves Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis song: GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!!... Slava Ukraine!!!✊...🇲🇽🤝🇺🇦✌😎

Excellent
Again, crude oil production and exports is different from refined petroleum products. UKR has not targeted production/exports facilities. - Recent increases in oil prices is due to Saudi Arabi cuts in oil production by 1 million barrels and Russia cut by 470k barrels.
Justified war target
The oil crude market is different from the refined petroleum market. The export of refined petroleum products had already been halted for 6 months ending in June. What their refineries are producing is used in country. The world largest refiners are the US and China and in 2023 9 new refinery projects have been completed, none in Russia. Ukraine is not hitting oil production or export facilities, only the refineries.
Great reporting... thank you from Ontario, Canada... we need to keep hearing the truth... I can't wait for the day that Ua news comes 1st before Ru news... it seems to me the Associated Press is too closely associated with Ru. Slava Ukraine!

Time is a big factor in this war. Ukraine should to its utmost to deprive the Russians of time to adapt and to regenerate.
It doesn't effect crude oil production, just refined products. The effect is mostly limited to Russian consumers of refined products.
Fighting war means burning diesel….no diesel no war
Not sure if it's confirmed about a foolish comment coming from the US, but keep hitting the refineries and other things that need Western parts to repair. Y'all are doing great.

18:00 "What air defense doing?" 😆
Slava Ukraine🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Petrol prices up 7% in Russia hopefully they can push that up to 50% extra
Control centres where the computers are is effective in shutting down a refinery without a great fire, a cooling tower is larger and easier to hit.
🎉🎉
Decarbonazification.
7:10 I think you (as many others) did get it wrong to differentiate between oil and refined oil products.
Hitting refineries reduces oil products Russia has. It has no impact on crude oil exports. In theory taking 100% of Russian oil refineries offline would even increase the crude that Russia can (or even has to) export to the world market!!! This is why the FT report about the US being worried made ZERO sense.
Hitting refineries is good for Ukraine, because: Russia can't export the refined oil products, which generate also a lot of revenue. Their production already when down, and export was banned to prioritize domestic consumption. So the second and main benefit is that this will reduce fuel for the military and drive up civilian fuel prices, which might be a complete death sentence for the russian economy.
Either it happened or is going to. The oil wells can't be shutdown only slowed.
It'll take about 10 years to get them pumping again.
Will they go after gas as well? Particularly Blue Stream.
It would have been better to target the Oil Infrastructure at the start of Winter - In winter Oil not flowing Freezes - Frozen Oil expands and Busts Pipes and Valves etc. Last time that happened it took years for the WEST (Not Russia) to fix.
I wish he would distinguish between oil and petroleum (and other oil products). Crude oil is relatively cheap and plentiful and won't really be affected by these air strikes. Its the value-added products that are produced by the oil refineries and the oil refineries themselves that will be affected. Russia will continue to be able to produce oil but there will be huge bottlenecks in the processing of that oil which is going to create problems. Lots of logistical problems in terms of storing all that oil that will now be waiting to be processed and imagine if they need to start transporting petroleum from the unaffected oil refineries in the east!
Gooodevenings 2 1 and all, I would like to take this opportunity to wish U a hearty Good Night from Oz 😍

Biden's position about the attack on oil refineries is about the next presidential election.
에초에 늬들 사람 부족하다면서 미얀마 시리아 아프간반군이랑 소총거래같은거도 안하면서 뭔 사람 모자라요 타령인지 모르겟다.
The guest is clearly not a student of economics...he has no clue that Russian is the second largest producer of oil...when supplies are cut it means an increase in prices as too few goods are being purchased by so many people...basic elementary economics...and who stands to benefit...the supplier ...meaning Russia benefits alot from the high prices

Hmmmm. An analyst who can`t tell the difference between A refinery "cooling tower" and a cracking tower is`nt really worth listening to. No offence KI but you may want to rethink those that you interview. Slava Ukraine and keep up the good fight!
God these guys are so young! But every once inn a while I meet a kid that is 12 years old which is the age when I started drinking alcoholically !!!

The cooling towers are still very necessary as the cracking tower. Although, it would be much easier to rebuild a cooling tower.
