I feel like Candace over estimates her own intelligence. She also tries way to hard to have a “hot take”

She's always reinventing the wheel.
I stopped liking her when I realized she’s ignorant, arrogant and has a big ego and pride. She can’t admit when she’s wrong and doesn’t take accountability. She kept using her pregnancy as an excuse; which made her sound like a woke person.
She's also thin-skinned and vindictive, which is why she's on a smear campaign against Israel and the Jews. She resents having been exposed as "faux sophisticated" on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
She says things that makes you want to believe her. But then you step back and scratch your head and realize “well, That was bizarre.” I completely stopped believing her after her Kanye “death con 3” comments.

Is Candace suggesting it’s okay to go around burning books as long as you’re burning the ‘right books’? Pretty sure that’s a liberal position these days.
That'a not her position but that's not the main issue. Nazis burned all kinds of books. The Brown Shirts weren't an aggressive Moms of Liberty. They weren't working for the greater good.

And yes censoring the right kind of content (determined by the speaker) is totally a liberal position.
It’s hard to say if she’s mostly deliberately ignorant or just being as provocative as possible to generate content and controversy.
She is very charismatic and she speaks as if her opinions are the facts of the universe, it is how cults start 🤷♀️ people feel like they have to get her opinion cause only she knows how to reason, but actually she is just soviet propaganda

"she was saying look at the things they're burning what a great job" she did not say this AT ALL in fact she goes on to do the opposite stating that she by no means finds it acceptable to burn books or institutes. You've done a great job at clipping things and failing to show full context i would encourage people to go watch full videos yourselves and watch her podcast on what happened with Andrew because she does include the clips. It sadly seems what you've done is form your conclusion first being 'Candace bad' then gave the most uncharitable out of context read of what shes said.
You fell for Candace's straw man. Klavan's issue was that she presented the Brown Shirts, the "student activists" as if they were burning those books because they were moral, when in reality, they hated ideologies contrary to their own and ideas from Jews.

Candace is a very bad faith actor. She claimed that Andrew Klavan is guilty of defamation because he said she made the claim that Hitler burning books was a good thing. Her defence was she never mentioned Hitler, as though there is a meaningful difference between Hitler and the Nazis. Did he technically misstate her words by mentioning Adolf Hitler, yes, although he then said, “or the Nazis”, which seems like an immediate correction.
Did she say burning books is good? No, but then she often refuses to say things explicitly. She instead paints a narrative and when the audience infers the obvious meaning from that narrative, she claims she never said that, which is technically true. She did the same thing when she quoted scripture in what was an obvious reference to the Daily Wire. When Ben Shapiro inferred her meaning and told her that if she felt conflicted by working for the Daily Wire she could quit, she pretended there was no connection, that she was just randomly quoting scripture and that Ben Shapiro (or a Jew as she now refers to him) can’t tell her she could not quote scripture, which was a bald-faced lie, he never said anything of the sort.
This is a tactic she regularly employs that enables her to say vile things without taking responsibility for what she says. Then when people call her out for it, she denies responsibility and uses it as evidence that she is being victimised.

Exactly. I started picking up on this wee narcissistic twist of hers a couple years ago. I am not sure if she's been doing it the entire time or started about then, but I don't care enough about her anymore to go back and check. I'm just done with her altogether now.

Yes. Thank you for laying that out so nicely. Candace is a gaslighter. I hesitate to use that term because it is so often used, and incorrectly used, but, it's the correct term. As you stated, she carefully lays out a bunch of bread crumbs to lead the viewer to a specific conclusion but when they arrive at that conclusion she says, 'that's not what I said' or 'I wasn't even talking about that' and acts surprised and insulted you would even imply that's what she meant. Nothing she does is by accident. She's also the master of the narcissistic trait DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender). By the end of her gaslighting she has made you the bad guy and herself the innocent attacked one.

That's why I could never listen to her show. It was obvious that some of the things she said were lies or exaggerations to draw attention.

You missed the point. She misrepresented Klavan's critism of her, claimed he defamed her. His problem was that she presented the Brown Shirts as if they just wanted to get rid of bad things. That's what he claimed was a dog whistle.

Glad you watch David and apostate prophet!! Know David personally and he’s a great man. I used to follow Candace and as a Messianic Jew, I just can’t watch her anymore. She has totally said some inappropriate things and I’ve let it go but now, I just can’t.
Hell I even thought she’d make a great vp one day! Not anymore. She’s usually hard headed and rarely apologizes (I get it never apologize to the mob) but she’s even stuck her foot deeper into the ground by lying outright about what she did and said all these months ago. That’s what I can’t get past. When you’re wrong say you’re wrong, you don’t double down if you have any scruples left in you.
And if she truly followed Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus) then she’d know the rhetoric she’s been spitting is against his word a million times over! She may not like me and my people but God does and he always will. I really used to love Candace but in the last couple of years she started saying things that just made me think what? It was like she was believing her own hype that she knew everything and she was the go-to person for if you want the real truth and blah blah blah. I don't know what's happened to her but she is just not the same person she used to be

My view on Candace is that she in fact does believe in what she is saying. She is honest in her take. She does provide the reasons for her views. However, I don't have the same views she has on everything, and this is perfectly fine. I believe she is well-intentioned also wouldn't take cheap shots at her like you do.

Aside from her ignorance in the brown shirt reference, very easily could've been taken from the multiple reference of Nazi students "in uniform" burned books across Germany. Look long enough and you will find a "illogical" inference that fits. Truthfully Christ is King can be said any time anywhere by anyone and someone will take it personal because that's what they were lookig for.
