    Chael says it was his mothers uncle. The brother of his grandfather. And that he didnt have to escape the woods, thats where he lived with his wife. Just a few miles from where he disappeared. Thats why he says "I maintain that he was home with his wife for dinner. She never even knew he was gone."

      Then his great uncle was an idiot and did not in fact make it home. He jumped off the plane into a blizzard at night wearing only a suit and using an unsteerable parachute. He had access to more than and could’ve improved his survival chances greatly if he was actually a mastermind like they say he was. He either died on impact because of the blizzard winds taking him wherever they wanted to, or he somehow did land and then proceeded to die to the elements because he was wearing only a suit.

    • @KingOfBeasts1258
      @KingOfBeasts1258 6 місяців тому

      Yeah. He literally COULDNT parachute into his own backyard. He had no way of controlling his landing because his chute was unsteerable, and the storm/blizzard that occurred that night would’ve made a safe landing impossible. He either died on impact or somehow landed and then died to the elements because he was only wearing a suit. Also he was for sure not a native. There were actually 2 flight attendants present basically the entire incident on board and they both described him as a middle aged white male

    • @danicacior4815
      @danicacior4815 11 місяців тому

      Chael clearly doesn't know anything. There was a storm in the area, with strong wind and 0 visibility. And he took 2 out of the 6 parachutes. 1 the reserve one, didn't even work. And the one he used was a military one, which is very bad at handling, you basically have no control where you go. Combine that with the rain and the strong wind and right there is a recipe for disaster.

  • @SP-qo3pd
    @SP-qo3pd 7 місяців тому

    The thing is that if he hid a motocycle then it's still there because there's no way he could have predicted where he could have landed in that stormy weather. Even if he had a GPS, he would have been blown way off his LZ; not counting injuries due to trees. His chute likely never opened, and he nosedived in the wilderness. One day in a few hundred years, they'll pick his bones from the forest.

    personally I don’t think it was Robert as he was just too immature (despite his intelligence) or Richard Mccoy as I very highly doubt DB would’ve attempted the same thing again only 5 months later - also DBC wore a toupee and the sketch doesn’t match anything. it’s scary how much William Gosset resembles the man in the sketch but due to his relationship with his son; I doubt he’d just tell his son he’s DB Cooper. William J Smith could’ve been him as the tie clip they found was from his store & his nose, ears and head shape match the sketch almost perfectly even 50 years later. The age matches as well & Also as soon as he hit the spotlight, he died. Duane could also be him because his wife has seen him throw bags into the same river where some of the money was found. Sheridan Peterson is probably the one I suspect the most due to the personality, confidence & literally same head. He is the only suspect they did not rule out after the DNA test & he also dies around the time things start to get heated for him. He did not work during the time of the highjacking & there are no tax records either. There’s just something about this suspect.
    Tbh after any and all research there’s really only 2 ways this went; he didn’t survive the jump or he did and modified his entire body (surgeries) with the money & is living peacefully to this day.

    Chael, there might have been bears but as a fellow Oregon boy, you aught know there wasn't anymore wolves during his time. Us Oregon and Washington folk killed them off long before that. Coyotes might have picked his bones, bears might have scattered them, but wolves didn't exist back then.

    Nope. DB. Cooper was really viet nam vet Robert Rackstraw. Sadly he died just a few years ago. He was a military pilot, and had all the training knowledge and experience he needed to pull off the heist. He also had a grudge against Uncle Sam for kicking him out of the army which is what prompted the skyjacking
