A joy to watch and absorb all the information as a complete newbie. Question: How come that ATC from FSMS does not interfere at all? Is it switched off in a way?
It seems I learn something additional each time I check each of the the various videos presented for the CJ4 by all of the video makers. I found several items in your videos I hadn't come across in others. I was particularly interested in how the computer handles Holds. As an old real time pilot from the days even before Vors I find it fascinating how simple navigation is these days. Thank you so much for your thorough coverage. Am I wrong to surmise that you too have a background in professional piloting?
I feel like Im getting a fairly decent feel for the CJ but need help with doing smoother takeoffs, climbout and final landing phases. Its great to find instructional vids like these. Thanks! BTW, so do you flare at all on landing this beast?
@@FlightsimSimon Ok, that is what I am doing. I also use Simbrief/Navigraph and then I have to set my fuel and weight by what it says. Im wondering...sometimes it almost feels like the plane is really light. It wants to float like forever. My real hope is that FlyByWire finishes their A32NX mod. I like flying regional and small to med commersh. Im mostly into the CJ because of how sophisticated the A/P is. Now that I mostly understand it, it is super cool that it can manage the most complicated constraints w eaze. But the airbus has auto throttle and managed mode for VNAV but its not yet working. My takeoffs and climbouts also need help. I want to get smoother at all of it.
Thanks for the tutorial!
Great 4 episodes! Very clear instructions well laid out. Keep it up! Looking forward to future videos!
Excellent video. Greetings from germany. I started with part 4 - now i will be enjoying part 1 to 3.
Thanks man! Great video

When I fly the cj4 there is a thing called the DES and it lists the time and nm to the DES. Does it mean descend?
