My friend you killed it again! As I always seem to say, I can't believe how nice your copper and bronze coins come out of the ground! 65 Indian, full Liberty and denticles, the 2-center was sweet and the largies awesome. Congrats and keep up the great work!
Glad to see a video from you. Nothing for the museum but some decent coins and tokens. I'd be happy. The mystery piece kinda looks like a window sash lock. Peace
I just found your channel. That place you were hunting is 55 minutes almost straight West of my house. If you ever want some company on your hunt let me know!
Because in the Midwest most fence lines are still in original locations. You go out and read the land and look for bits of brick, stone and China. Bingo. Not too hard once you do it a few times. I usually jump on a four wheeler and putt from field to field looking for high and low spots and then the bits and pieces. The variety from site to site is my favorite part.
Oh ill bet not. I got a few fb buddy's in Florida. I've learned their scarce down there. If I lived in Florida, I'd probably be a crazy 24/7 beach hunter and hit the treasure coast as much as possible. That'd be fun....especially at night. 😊
@@TheHillsdaleBoys I’ve only found 3 large cents down here. Two 1923 and one unreadable. They all were in bad shape. I’m hoping to find some older spots to search.
Nice hunt and finds👍🤓👍. ❣️ From here in Michigan
Thanks Lisa 👍

The mystery item is part of a candle wick cutting/snuffing tool. I have found one intact and part of 2 others
Sweet, thanks Kenny 👍
John Closson/Spring Arbor here- the 1865 IH and 2 ¢ are very nice. Must be the clay protected them from the galvanic corrosion?
Hi John, your probably right. The soil down there has a lot of clay in it. Just gets worse the farther south you go. Poor Mike has it bad....
Andy other great video and some nice finds , like finding those 2 cent coins and largies makes for a good day
Thank you sir 😊👍
I am in the north east Ohio and I can’t understand why the lg cents are so scarce here .only 2 found in a year it’s crazy 😊
Yeah that’s weird because I’m in western Ohio and I find lg cent here but no British coins
How do you find these old roads on farm fields? That and old homes. I use historical aerials but no luck

I'll take a token over a braided any day. Guess I'll have to find that anvil token AND a half dime to catch up to you and Speiser.
Oh I love tokens but you know me and my largies. There my favorite....😉
@@TheHillsdaleBoys you do find a butt load of em lol
Care to share what old map.system you use? I'm in Columbia Missouri and would like to find some old wagin trails

Thank u
@@TheHillsdaleBoys No problem, enjoyed watching you dig those coppers. I live in Florida Panhandle, don't see them down here.

What part of Ohio? I’m southeast Ohio.
I live in Michigan, so I just jump the border up to 30-45 minutes away.
