It sounds way better! Thinking about doing the same on my f750. But i find this actually looks like pretty weird hole, like if a whole part of the bike was missing.
Agreed. Their silencer seems WAY too cheap ($$$) but given how well this is built, I think I could endorse the muffler as well. This is a well made linkage pipe, good quality clamps just wish it used Torx instead of Allen. Allen can't really take high torque.
Got the same brand for my bike and I think it will go to 750 too (btwy it took less than 4 days to deliver package from Poland to Colorado, craaaazy), thnx, V!
Maybe I missed it in the video, but does this make any difference in fuel mileage? I don’t mind if it doesn’t improve it I just don’t want it to hurt it.
I didn’t see any difference in fuel economy. We did the resonator delete + Akra titanium muffler (silencer) combo at the same time. Together, they sound pretty amazing. It’s a very throaty sounding twin.
Hi Adam, could you tell me what saddle bags and supports do you have on it? Recently i,ve purchase this bike ,and i,d wish to know more options than the OEM.Any link or brand will be apreciated.Thank you very much.
Kind of an odd setup but we have Jesse Racks on our R1200GS and F750GS. These racks work both with Jesse boxes & the Mosko Moto bags (using the Jesse soft luggage adapter kit) so we can mix and match. Basically my wife and I can alternate our luggage and use what we need for the trip we're going on.
I'll do that in the Spring. Can't do that until then since the bike lives below where I sleep & eat, (basement) but good tip. The pipe & muffler are past the O2 sensor so there's no issue w/ codes. The catalytic converter is also retained.
Hi Gulliver. Nope, the Resonator box comes after the O2 sensor so the bike's fueling and air to fuel ratio is not impacted. We don't have any surging/stall/power issues with this modification. It's just like doing a custom muffler.
Hi, I installed it, but it doesn't work form me 'cos of noise. Gets quite loud and annoying, at least for me. As Gordy wrote, I thing it would be wise to adapt. I've noticed higher exhaust temp, so there's some sort of fuss with the mixture for sure. BTW, its a polish company you can order directly from the website. Cheers!!!
Here's a photo fo the fluid brand new. Looks the same - i.imgur.com/d5Bq8SI.jpeg Could be the white balance of the iPhone? I never pressure wash the bikes ,always just a hose.
Zero. The catalytic converter & O2 sensor are still in place. After the O2 sensor, there are no more sensors to log. You could remove the resonator and muffler completely and no code would come it would just be VERY loud.
I can hear it when riding behind my wife. When I'm riding it under 50 and I'm on the throttle. it's very throaty and growls more on downshifts...more pops and bangs but on the interstate, it's no extra vibration / drone which was my biggest concern. Good thing is, it's fully reversible so you can order it and see how you like it.
@@AdamChandler86 what year is your 750? online it says it wont fit a 2022 but I don't think anything has changed since 2020 which is the last year it says it fits. Thanks for the quick reply.
This is a 2020. I do know there are exhaust changes after my bike. it's probably a good idea to reach out to Dominator over email and make sure. The 2021 F750GS is EURO5 which changed how long the header was just slightly.
Great Vids as always! I'm dying to shed weight of my 850 anyway I can, because of all the stuff I've been adding. Crash Bars, Panniers, Etc. I prefer a quieter sound to the pipe. Unsure how much louder this link pipe set up will be than stock when on the open road?
I would like to do that too...I regret of installing crash bars. Another option to lose some weight is to get rid of side pannier holders (I have them from Givi which also adds some weight) and get original vario side cases or buy big top bag cca 60-80l for longer trips. And buy big top case like trekker 52 which is enough for most of the time.
Hi there ! Sounds really nice ! But I have one question : is this road legal ? I really want to install it on my own 850 gs, but I'm a bit scared of the legality of that thing haha PS : I'm riding in Europe (France) Thanks for your answer and have a nice one buddy
EU, maybe not. You can however check with Dominator directly in NL. If they have a certificate for EU registration of their pipe, then you are okay. If they have no such certification for their exhaust, then you run a risk of fines now having it. Send them a mail and check. They may have what you need.
@@AdamChandler86 hello Adam, Thanks for the reply ! I sent them an email earlier, unfortunately this pipe is not EU compliant. However if your exhaust is totally legal, I don't think you risk taking too many fines as cops don't really get the difference between the exhaust, the pipe, etc.
Nice video. I want to know if you experienced power loss in lower revs after the resonator removal? I bought my 850GS with the pipes installed, and it feels much less power than other 850's I rode.
Very interesting. Note, this is a Euro4 bike so the 2020 and newer have different exhaust setups due to euro5. But no weirdness after the install. It just sounds a lot nicer.
So 2 questions Adam and Heather, 1. When can you do some drive by's and some sound tests so we can hear this setup, and I know you like it heather, but I would like to hear your opinions on it now that you have been riding with it for a time. 2. Heather or Adam, while riding have either of you felt the left leg getting hot? I think it only happens on mine when the fan comes on....but it is really hot. I am not sure its normal or not, no one with the bike that I know complains about it....but it is pretty damn hot on my left leg. thanks.
It would appear heather will be answering your question but as for sound clips...I"m really bad at them. fly-bys and such are not my specialty they always end up sounding like garbage. I can say this setup sounds WAY better than the Akra setup on my R1200GS.
Hi Jon, Adam actually shared a sound test of the Akra vs the OEM here: ua-cam.com/video/n5pl6K3ACAM/v-deo.html both in the driveway and with a drive-by. I do still really like the exhaust. It isn't too loud but I err on the side of caution with all things and wear ear protection under my helmet if we're going very far. For your second question, I've never had an issue with it making my leg hot. We're pretty far north so maybe our outside temperatures help with this? Hard to say. I am sorry to hear you're experiencing that though!

Yep, that's my opinion. Remus is a great way to save weight and add sound to the stock setup. Dominator is for folks who already have the Akrapovic can and want more sound. Dominator is also much cheaper but it works best with the Akra muffler.
In USA, nope. You may have issues in California with passing the smog test if there's a noise-related addition? All it's doing is removing weight and adding sound. There's still an O2 sensor & catalytic convertor.
Jesse Luggage Racks. I bought them for this bike because we have Jesse Hard boxes already and Mosko Moto bags mounted to Jesse's Soft Luggage backing plate so heather and I can swap our luggage between bikes easily.
