  • The Allyn House was a grand hotel that stood at the corner of Trumbull and Asylum Streets in Hartford from 1857 to 1960. Today this is the location of the Hartford 21 building.

Love seeing buildings like this. Is there a wonder of how these buildings were constructed (besides the narrative that seems unreal)? There are also many other buildings in the USA that look to have a common building style or technology ;) that we seemingly cannot duplicate today (or obviously). It is strange to think of Millionaires row in Hartford as well, with similar looking majestic buildings. I am curious if more people are questioning our US history after seeing all the Greco Roman buildings at every major US city still standing. Very interesting I must say.
