    The new marking/lebelling, teaching is great...it gives the effect how you teach someone in the class on a black board... Alwys wanted that in your explanations...Thank you Captain for innovating new techniques to teach..

    Hi sir...Thanks for the video. Could you please confirm the upper wing ballast tanks can be reserve buoyancy? Or even the underdeck passage on the container ships can be taken as Reserve buoyancy?

    For ships carrying timber cargo will the timber cargo also helps to increase reserve buoyancy?

    Hello sir. I would like to ask, if a ship is loaded in summer zone and the discharging zone is in winter zone, until what load line should you load?

    Sir what are the areas to be considered for reserve buoyancy.

    • @SteeringMariners
      @SteeringMariners  3 роки тому +1

      Any spaces above the waterline, for example, watertight doors, shell plating, armored bulkheads, segregated compartments, void spaces, etc.

    Does ballast tanks serve to reserve buoyancy in a loaded condition?

    • @SteeringMariners
      @SteeringMariners  3 роки тому

      Not really, they are mostly below the waterline.
