I am an old-school purist musician, and perhaps somewhat of a snob about a lotta newer music because I had thought that it lacked true musicianship and talent. With this one video, you have made me realize I've been wrong on so many levels. I am literally shocked over what I just heard/watched you do. I'm gonna sub and try to learn from you. Exceptional video, skills and talent you have there. I'm as impressed as I was watching Steve Vai Hydra for the first time.
It’s like you’ve taken a leaf out of Imogen Heap’s book, ran with it, had fun with it and really made it your own. That was so impressive! Creatively, technically and musically brilliant!

absolutely smashed it out the park. as a cynical old record collector this is impressive. its an authentic sounding underground dance track that is surprisingly well formed for a live performance. it sounds like an actual record, it has bags of character and the vocal work really lifts it off the page. this is the genuine article! im only amazed i didnt hear rachels name in the line up for bbc 6 musics festival in wales this weekend. what a crime!

Not only do your sound design choices absolutely smash, but your mastery over the performance , singing/ layering/ playing whilst triggering stems, mixing , fx, filters, never fails to impress me. I reallly appreciate the insight into how you achieve this , I’m trying ..but I’m years behind you and yet to develop your fantastic attitude. Rachel: Your newest batch of songs are like combination punches, your arrangements build so well ..a new sound every four bars, all the dynamic of a kicking DJ mix….build to these really pumping , totally dance-floor-friendly drops and (nearly always) these huge uplifting chorus / outtro vocal melodies..to me , comparable to like, the best “uplift”that (soulful old school classic) house music has to offer.. Sorry for gushing.. Killing it ❤️🔥always fresh
