I dig the gimmick that makes the eyes glow. That's cool. The Decimator's play feature are both cool and hilarious. You're having too much fun doing the unboxing and commentaries. Love it.
The eye glow is pretty under-rated. These are figures I remember seeing and wanting but with limited funds back then it was better spent on stuff I really, really wanted like Power Rangers, X-Men and such. So it's awesome finally getting these in my hands and trying them out. Decimator would have been the big boss when playing I think.
VR Troopers was released on DVD in the US by Shout, but the sets are out of print now. Discotek Media released some of the other Metal Heroes shows on Blu-ray in the US more recently. Hopefully they officially release the shows that were used to make VR Troopers too.
It was nice seeing the full footage in the Metalder show. VR Troopers is edited even more than the Power Rangers where you get to see less of the costumes and fights. But I'm glad for what I did get to see as a kid with VR Troopers.
It does, and it was way too late of a change because I think I was done watching it by then. Always loved JB doing the double edged lightsaber move, but it was all so disjointed from the editing. But I'm glad to know and watch Metalder from it, I really enjoyed that show.
The VR troopers fought grimlords mutants army from the virtual world. Grimlords created them and it was later revealed how CEO Carl Ziktor became Grimlord and was able to move from the real world to the virtual world.
@@MBXfilms Speaking of Shaider, the Metal Hero series from 1984 was a hit in my country when it aired on ABS-CBN in the late 80s & on IBC in the early 90s.

I still have Tankatron/Tankotron from back when he was released. I might have to collect the others too. Thanks for the video.
He's just a cool looking figure that I would have used with any other toys also.
Watching the shows makes me appreciate these even more.

Ryan's second suit should've been used the whole time, it at least looked more like the other two suits.

The virtual world part is a little unclear, but at least the characters are.
The battle grid, Skugs appear in the real world, It's pretty crazy.
Awesome.
This is such a wacky fun group to have. Classic designs.
I want these.
I always liked the toys more than the show, they did look really cool.
Wish you review the Shaider figures from Japan in the future, since footage of the series was used in the 2nd season of VR Troopers.
I need to do the other two troops, but that would be the goal, to get that figure of his "new" suit and watch the Shaider show also.
