  • Track action from La Grande Exposition du Centenaire des 24 Heures du Mans (Parade Of The Grande Exposition Du Centenaire) and The Legends of the Race parades that took place on Friday and Saturday at Le Mans. Possibly the most incredible collection of cars to run at a major sporting event, just a shame they weren't out there for longer...

It's amazing that a Rotary powered car managed to get a damn good crowd response like if Dale Earnhardt Sr or Jr won a NASCAR race back then... It was those days (90s- mid 2000s) that you can tell who will win by simply looking at the car from a standstill or the driver behind the wheel.

For me this is the most iconic race car to date.

The 1991 Mazda 787b for me soundwise really stands out....

It's a shame they were only blipping the throttle. Was really hoping they'd give these things a few hours to run round the track seeing as the Friday was so empty

One question... (clears throat) WHERE'S THE WINNER CARS OF 1989 (SAUBER C9) AND 1992/'93 (PEUGEOT 905)!?! THAT'S SAD!!!

Count on the French to feck up even the simplest of things. What was the point of having the drivers run to the cars if they were only allowed to go only when shown the flag? Must be the "french touch".
Anyway, thanks to @Pescara Productions for sharing.

lol Aren't some of those cars french made?
In fact even the track itself?

@@fyfyi6053 They have failed to include the WR for holding the max speed record. Naturally, then came the chicanes to ensure other manufacturers "stayed safe" and away from that record.
About the track, I am not sure. It depends how you look at it. In a way, it is thanks to the British (and Dutch) that the "track" exists. ;-)

Such a disappointing vid, not the production, the show, push all that junk in a furnace apart from the Group C stuff, no revving, no fly byes, no acceleration, dreadful attempt on their part, just rev the fk outta the Mazda and be done with it !🤣🤣 .....hee hee.

Yeah it kinda sucked watching them trawl round at a slow pace under safety car. The Friday schedule was so dead as well, I sat around for hours for these to show up. Could have comfortably been given a few laps to go round at decent pace but this was the best we got. I guess you just have to go to the Le Mans Classic for the good use of these cars

@@PescaraProductions Shame mate when you put all that time into it, they made the stuff once and anything can be repaired when broken. I would have been well pissed off watching that Mazda NOT being revved. They know the reason that folk want to see THAT car doin' its thing. I love all the group C stuff though, I was a 24 year old back in '85 so knew all about what those cars stood for and the threat they posed to F1.....Weirdo Eccleston did not like that LOL
