The piece came from how naturally my partner, the girl standing on my face, hated this trick. It makes her very uncomfortable because she believes she will hurt me. We tried to spread this tension to the audience to give a sense of suspense. Does that answer your question?
In your second sentence, I believe you meant to write "the girl standing on my face..." not "the dirt standing on my face." But how does letting a woman stand on your face build suspense with the audience? Since she appears reluctant to perform the act, and needs coxing by you, is the tension supposed to be wondering whether she will do it or not? And, since she appears uncomfortable to perform the act, why not ask another woman instead? And, why call the piece "Standing on Face?" Why not call it "Building Tension" if that is what the "exercise" is supposed to create?

Their expectation is usually that a human would crush another human skull if they stood on it. And the girl really hates that trick because she feels that she will crush my skull. We hoped her anxiety would translate to the audience and we hoped that we could build the question of what would happen if she did stand on my face. Now. That's not to say that that is the message that everyone received but that was our intention.
