Redemption and sanctification come with Christ! You cannot separate the two, just like you cannot separate Jesus! This might be my favorite MLJ sermon yet. There is nothing more discouraging than purely moral teaching!
Excellent exposition of the demonstration of the Holy Spirit. What I learned: The Holy Spirit has both an effect of regeneration on the heart to faith and once the Christian is justified by faith, a continued effect of sanctification that makes impossible any going back to the old _illusion_ of justification (as though a more moral life were sufficient for access into the kingdom). The sanctifying Holy Spirit shows the saint the inestimable value of our _Lord and_ Savior, Jesus Christ.
@@MLJTrust Do you have more information on that hymn book? Publisher? I'm aware it may be out of print, but may still be available somewhere, or from someone. Thanks for the information.
@@10glocks40 Unfortunately not. I have tried on Amazon but Congregational Praise" is so generic that it covers multiple current titles, alas. So sorry!

I am illumined and blessed by this exposition. Glory to God! Thank you Dr. Llyod Jones.
Profound teacher. I recommend A Power Within or A More Excellent Way if you are navigating his sermons

Is there anyway I can get the hymns sung in MLJ's times?
Hi Paul - The hymnal they used was "Congregational Praise". I am not sure if it is still in print, I'm afraid
