Love your videos the 1 thing I love about mines is that I could adjust them at first I didn’t know why 1 of mines had a lower cut of line than the other until I watched your video and I found out On some u could adjust them , now they are perfectly aligned

That's why I just brought the morimoto jewel headlights. Nothing to worry about and it's back by warranty. And pretty much self explanatory on installation
Yeah u made the right choice I bought mines from "Alpharex USA" Nova jewel , I had it for over a month and the only problem I had was the cut off line was a little low but it comes with an adjustment screw so everything is great now😎 ( I paid $1,200 and comes with 2 years warranty )

Can't wait for the how to video, lucky for me I got my tlx donor lights for free because of broken tabs. I have an extra set of tsx aftermarket lights that I plan on setting the jewels in them, do you think aftermarket headlights housing would be a good platform?

As an interesting side note, In 1977 Porsche developed a headlight leveling system for Euro-Spec 928s that allowed the driver to fine tune the beam to compensate for changes in weight & weight distribution.

I have a theory on how to properly align them horizontally. You would have to basically make an adjustable fixture to bolt up to the headlight body. Turn it on and shine it on the banner for aiming headlights, and adjust the fixture to line up properly. You keep that fixture locked to where it's at and (in theory) be able to use it to set up the jewel eyes angle. It may only work for projector type headlights with the clear line pattern.

I've just started watching this channel and it's making me want to get new headlights for my Sentra Se-r SpecV 2012. I don't know exactly what I want, I just want them to be looking more modern and less boring. How do you design them/where could I find ideas? Any help is appreciated 😅

I would really like so do this on my Honda Pilot Elite headlights that come with reflector LEDs.
i'm think of these lights, but mishimoto and hero makes these for camaro by design. any thoughts on why you wouldn't want to do it when they are made via production sales?

How can I connect led lights in my car to come on when I unlock the car with my dome light and also be able to turn on with the fog lights as well?? ..... HELP!! 😩

I’m kinda over the challenge of the build. At this point I’m challenged to get the content, make it valuable, build the courses, learn what everyone is working with, etc. the challenging builds I’m alllll the way uninterested in doing myself lol. That’s why I just want to feature other specialized builders 👌

Can you do jewel eye headlights on an 09 Cadillac CTS?
It would be nice if you can show other Acura’s Jewel Eye LEDs!
Other than the old RDX/TLX’s 5-unit eye with either reflector or projector high beam,
The ILX has a 7-unit eye;
The RLX has a 4+4 bi-pupil eye;
The new RDX has a 7-unit eye;
The new TLX/MDX gets a 4-unit eye!
The reason for this is the entire housing emptied out might not fit them, as you can see in the video his headlights are pretty much all taken up with 5, would need to be into the turn signal area and an alternative done like strip signal

even at $2,000 it's a good deal. most top tier aftermarket headlights like alpharex or morimoto and recon cost $1200-$1700 a pair. so getting one of a kind custom headlights for $1500-$2000 is worth it, if you have the right builder. great content love the channel
Morimoto and other brands offer warranty tho, idk if a builder would offer warranty.

Hi Flyryde how do we reach you for custom Sequential LED strips that can do:
-red brake light
-Sequential Amber turn signal
-white back up lights
All in one "tube" the thing that scatters the light to make it look uniform & not see the individual LED?
I think we’re closer than ever before to getting products available that don’t suck, but at least cover the bases you mentioned pretty decent.
But… as of now I don’t have a silver bullet for you. The fact that there’s no good option for OEM level output for even a white LED strips that are flexible is sad.

If it helps, they don't need to be flexible. They will be placed, with 3m tape, on the back of my Jeep Wrangler.
It’s everything from the external mounting, to the form of sequential technology, to the space available. I could (but don’t offer my service) build an overly complex red strip setup with Amber and White sequential stripz from Yunique LED. But the hassle is the housing, the programming, the hardwiring…. and the subsequent cost for the time needed to hand make something that 99 out of 100 Jeep or truck guys would think is “basically the same” as their 50 dollar Amazon special version.
Like, I could probably find some rubber specialist to make me an extra custom one off tire, and pay $10,000 for it, or I could pay 47 bucks at Walmart for the same size made by Douglas (whoever the hell Douglas is?).

@@flyryde Yeah not gonna lie Chris, I've learned a lot from you. Id had experience in the past but it was your videos that made me want to do this for a living. I like doing the crazy stuff like making entire interiors RGBW Bluetooth. Even the super hard stuff like German cars. But I've learned that it takes too long to do them and it's too time consuming. That's my problem Is I LOVE challenges.... but the challenges don't make the money because nobody wants to pay for the hours.
I think it's smart of you to do all these DIY videos because there's so many people out there that have no idea where to start. But you can't supplement the years of experience, yet you make it practical and to the point.
I feel like if I knew nothing, your videos would get me to the finish line regardless of the years needed to break the mind barrier of what's possible because most people just want 1 simple modification.
I wish I lived closer to you man so I could pick your brain and learn from the best.

I have a 2002 Chevy 2500hd and want jewel lights in the top and bottom headlights on each side is that possible I also live in NE Ohio can anyone recomend a builder in my area I also in the process of building a vehicle performance/fabrication complex basically a large group of buildings where each building has it's own specialty and there own business but we all work together but have their own businesses but are part of one big group we even design manufacturing machines for our designs and have Patten lawyers and financial people as well as multiple wharehouses for each specialty our own indoor scrap yards we plan on doing custom builds having a specialty vehicle dealership and aftermarket line even handling shipping it's by Akron Canton airport so we can run our dynos and wind tunnel testing also looking at facilities in Cleveland and Columbus I am mainly focused on trucks from.3/4 ton to class 7 but we do cars and large SUVs as well I am also expanding into raw materials and dealerships as well both medium duty truck, trailer, boat, and campers we are also involved in shipping, wholesale, military surplus, air gas station, and want to Branch out into eltronics we have one main building is all corporate like paperwork so that doesn't distract from the creative process we don't have a name yet but do make custom tires and wheels as far as tread size and material we also build custom engines and do custom engeering there are loft living and meeting quarters above each building and there are also proving grounds and planning on adding more also we make and design guns and have a shooting range it's also part of an airport so if you want to fly that is an option as well we also have passive income streams from 1800s compounds and rentals so please give us a look

I personally believe that a reputable builder for Jewel Eye headlights should be 2-5x what number we discussed here. This should be a top tier price that 999 out of 1000 would never pay.
