Raw milk in 20 years caused just 2600 people getting sick, and just 200 people going to hospital according to even CDC which pushes anti-health agenda. 90%+ of those cases are probably related to some other random food which idiotic doctors identified wrongly as milk.
You can have a 3-4 liter a day raw milk diet (with no other food) and be much more healthy than the average CDC guideline follower.
I thought Greg was coming too hard on you. Apparently it is the opposite. He is too soft on you. You have no shame. You don't even show signs of lying when you talk about raw milk.
Side rant, I really wish people would stop demonizing bread. Bread is so good and can be healthy! Unless your diet consists of 90% bread I don’t see the need to worry about a side of bread with your salad or pasta. It’s getting ridiculous how often people are told to stop eating bread for “health”.
yeah I don't get it either...most people would have couple of slices a day whether it is for breakfast or a sandwich.y is it a problem smh
That’s true, however, I feel like many people eat too much bread or not good quality bread. I think that’s where the fear of bread comes from, but if you enjoy good bread and don’t eat masses of it’s it pair it with protein and veggies, it’s really not a problem for most people.
Bread lover for life
Whole grain bread can be a great source of complex carbs and depending on what kind you get you can get tons of seeds and nuts from it. Of course white sandwich bread full of sugar isn't something to eat tons of daily but bread can be so healthy! And yummy! I do a homemade sourdough focaccia that makes me so happy.
As a gluten intolerant, I assure you no one is listening to the bread fear mongerers, given the price of GF bread still.
Be lucky you can eat normal bread. You have so much privilege.
My GF bread is $7 a loaf. Yours is still $1.50.
When Daisy said "I should probably stop... but it's so good" about the small piece of bread my jaw dropped. Sad but also infuriating! This shouldn't be allowed online for young audiences, period. Also, I will always roll my eyes when she obsesses over putting solely "natural things" in her body when she's had loads of plastic surgery. 🙄Come on girl.
So unfortunate
I thought this as well. I've been surgically enhanced myself, so I'm the last person to harp on being "natural"
@@canecorsomom2023 Right?? And there’s nothing wrong with that btw! You do you I bet you look cute 🩷 It’s just crazy to me that she makes exceptions is all
it’s definitely sad that she thinks that tiny bread would push her over the edge in some way! they put that bread in there for a reason! as far as plastic surgery, idk it’s not really the same to me, yeah it’s not natural but I think she’s more concerned about stomach problems, not really everything she puts in her body being “natural”
They are separate things. You can have a bionic arm and prefer to eat an organic, vegan diet. Your logic is dumb AF
I really empathize with Daisy. She is so entrenched in appearance and physical perfection, her entire brand is based around looking good. As much as we’d like to idolize that and say it gets her many privileges in life, it’s also super damaging in the long term. If your world centres around maintaining a specific look, you’re going to be hit hard with self esteem issues as you get older. Imagine turning 80 and realizing that you spent the majority of your life restricting, worrying and shaping yourself to be ‘beautiful’ and didn’t try to pursue anything else. I don’t want to demonize caring about your looks- but there’s a huge world out there and beauty is so fickle.
Not 80.... When the perimenopausal hormones kick in and make your body go nuts, you see changes that are absolutely out of your control. I feel for people who are so focused on their bodies, because the ONE thing we all have in common is that our bodies are going to change. Constantly and irrevocably.
The first question that pops into my mind: what doesDaisy even consider bloating is? Is it "oh, I had broccoli, Im bloated" or the "normal" reaction our bodies have whenever we eat because, people do need to eat and if your tummy feels a bit "bigger" its only because we had food? Dont get me wrong but I believe people are calling nowadays bloating anytime our bodies go through the normal process of digestion. Just saying.
That's it,girl. These influencers seem paranoid and as they get more, the entire audience tunes in with them.
Can I just say Abbey you've really helped me recently stop obsessing over tracking my macros and taking a more intuitive, relaxed and mindful approach. I am a recovering drug addict so I do find myself slipping into 'addictive' behaviors especially around food. When I see someone like Daisy I realise how unhealthy it is. Also always love the 'sass' 😅
So proud of you🥰🥰
Wishing you the best w your continuing recovery ❤️ you got this
Yesss 😊 abbey’s content helps me when I am tracking to realize when I can tell the app to stop bothering me. Im not going to choke something down just because an app tells me I need more protein if my body rebels at the thought of another bite of protein.
@@leemcclory7204 omg! This is exactly how I've been feeling! I've cancelled my subscription so for the time I've got it left I'm trying to do every other day to wean myself off tracking. Because it does start to become obsessive, I did the same thing with my fitness tracker cos that too was running my life!
My mom had to cut down sodium, but that's because she had high blood pressure. She successfully lowered her sodium intake and her doctor was able to take her off of her blood pressure medication! I'm so proud!

This is really hard to watch. She seems so unhappy and exhausted but is clearly trying to sound super sweet about everything like it’s so much fun and worth it. Girl, eat the whole slice of bread and stop lying to yourself and everyone else!
One of the reasons pasteurization of milk started was to get rid of bovine tuberculosis that was found in unpasteurized milk and could lead to changes in the bones.

One whole strawberry in a salad, wow. Demonizing not only bread but strawberries also is starting to be too much for me 😅 Thanks Abby for addressing this, but sadly many of Daisy's followers might not get the message here (sigh)

I thought she meant she was disappointed that there was only 1 strawberry.
@@Sterling8953 I didn't know this and that makes a lot more sense, thanks for telling this!
@@B_27Abby is so annoying
@@B_27 this is meant for your nutritionist and maybe therapist to hear, not the comment section of a UA-cam video
Also, if you're overly tired before a workout, you're MUCH more likely to get injured-not just a slight overuse injury...like you may do something that could land you in the hospital. On those days, it's just best to get some extra sleep, or keep the activy very easy (like maybe a resting type of yoga).
This!! Wish I had heard this advice a few years back when I went to exercise super tired and unfocused because I was trying to be disciplined and push through. The end result was a broken wrist and a ruined summer. It seriously sometimes is best to listen to your body and give yourself rest if needed. Doesn't make you lazy.
Liz Seibert is promoting unpasteurized Amish dairy. She's also got a 4 hour eating window as she is intermittent fasting. I'd love to see you do a video on her. She said she consumes almost 3000 cals daily though
I think we need to be really careful of the word promotion. Liz filmed what she ate in s day and claimed many times she was under the supervision of doctors, and is doing what works for HER. Promoting and like a sponsorship where you say YOU need to try this. Like Abbey is sponsored by many. Just because someone talks about their lifestyle, doesn't mean they are glamorizing or promoting it. Sometimes, people ask, and she filmed. We need to take personal responsibility at some point and be like, hey, doctor should I do this for me? No? Okay. And move on.
She says she’s being monitored by a holistic nutritionist. Which is NOT a doctor. In the United States you need no education/certification to call yourself a nutritionist. The only title that requires a degree and board certification is a dietitian.
@oakyafterbirth2801 she actually is being monitored by a medical doctor. They might of not created her mealplan but she says she has a team of people who are watching her. She recently gotten blood work and her MD found she was low in many vitamins. I'm not disagreeing with your assessment of titles, but she is seeing multiple people. She is also gained about 25 pounds and it feels like it's working for her. By no way does she recommend others do it. Again, personal responsibility .
Yes please!!!!!!!
i literally had to block her on social medias bc it’s triggering and tiring to watch her spiral into a ED relapse, promote it, and use backlash as fuel for attention
hello abbey, i wanted you to know that youve really helped me to priorotise my health and inspired me to balance my diet as best i can. because of your videos i allow myself to eat well and care about what i put into my body because my body does so much for me

Still waiting for the day that Daisy reacts to or acknowledges these videos. She could learn so much from your feedback if she bothered
Why should Daisy pay any mind to this awful person who has made a living off criticizing other people? Lol.
Why would she though. She's not making bank by being healthy, she's doing so by being an aspirational beauty standard.

Abbey!! I always get super excited when I see a new vid of yours on my feed ☺️
Hey Abby, I know something you comment on a lot is your distate of "body shots" with diet influencers. I have also noticed that your thumbnails usually includes pictures of "body shots" or women in revealing clothing. I'm curious to see what your thoughts are on that. I feel like it seems contradictory to your overall message but I'd love to know what you think.
Body shots are only bad if Abbey doesn’t benefit from them
^^
Yeah, one of many hypocracies in Abbey's channel.
@iaia2022 can you list the others? Asking because I'm trying to be highly critical of who I follow or not.
@@eduardaarrais I posted another comment about that under this video.
Abbey, I seriously appreciate how evidence-based you are and how you include your sources in your videos!
Your comment about raw milk made me think about Jazmin Tyler, who used to be ‘intolerant to dairy’ and who is now HEAVILY promoting raw milk! Could you do another review of her channel? She seems even more disordered than last time
It’s actually possible to get rid of lactose intolerance. I used to have no problems with dairy, then I cut it out completely (for ethical reasons, I was mostly vegan for a while) and my body wasn’t used to it anymore. For a while I was extremely intolerant to lactose, even one tablespoon of yogurt would cause pain and diarrhea - I slowly got used to it, so now I can digest lactose in small amounts again.
But that’s just my experience, I don’t know about Jazmin Taylor, I don’t know her and promoting raw milk already sounds… weird.
I would love to see Abbey review Jaz's What I eat in a day videos as well, because she promotes it as intuitive eating, but I also find my self questioning whether or not it is healthy the way she promotes it
@@Diana-qp2rw ofc it is possible! But she admitted that she invented it as part of her ED, and going from one extreme to another doesn’t mean hawking most of the times :/
@@Diana-qp2rwthat works, therapy for IBS works like that. But that doesn't change the fact that raw milk is dangerous as hell.
Hey abbey, can you look at lizseibert? It looks like her eds are just swinging back and a forth and she’s now in this very odd “healing” diet and I’d love to hear your thoughts
I can take a look
Yes, thank you! Recently she was on a weight gain diet....while intermittent fasting, keto and eating not much more than bone broth!
9:50 My breakfast is always carb based! I do my carbs first thing- I need the energy. I worked frontlines of COVID for the health district and I learned how to eat for energy, no crash, and to stay full. I’m now a CCHW II working as a medical assistant.
So carbs+protein+fat is always breakfast along with water, vitamins and probiotics. I stay full for hours…sometimes my entire shift. My favorite is cinnamon bread with cream cheese and butter, a handful a mixed nuts, an apple and a banana. :)
OOOOOOOH
I wonder how much she actually adheres to what she says on the video and how much of it is purely for external validation
Yes for sure
The misinformation that Daisy puts out is mind boggling. I had to block her channel due to the BS she puts out. “Leaning out” is a miserable way to live for a few pictures/videos.
Always do what’s best for you!
I found the meal suggestions before workouts helpful
I have intracranial hypertension (IIH)and I notice the difference in amount of salt I intake it’s actually the primary thing I am concerned with now in my diet, but perhaps my specific health issue makes that unique. when I was diagnosed I noticed the crazy amounts of sodium in everything. I Can actually manage not taking my medication by monitoring my sodium. So I think Sodium is a valid concern for some.
Love your messages here abbey!!!!!
Love your videos and so thankful for your recommendations and swaps or additions for meals. As a young new mom breastfeeding I need to focus on getting my nutrients in and your advice really helps😅❤ would love more content about quick meals/snacks and feeding a family
If you ever run out of celebrities, I think it'd be great to eat like different countries/cuisines per video. That would be so fun to watch!!!
Regarding front loading carbs and insulin sensitivity, I’d like to see you discuss Jessie Inchauspé aka Glucose Goddess! She’s a biochemist and book author who recently guested Diary of a CEO (a video pod).
I don’t ever really know how to balance things out but I’ve been trying to incorporate more veggies and fruit, veggies are easy but fruits are hard for me. Don’t know why fruits are hard. but these videos kinda help me figure out what I need to start including and continue to eat intuitively. 😊
Do you like a sweet breakfast? Just top it with a handful of berries (frozen in winter) or apple slices.
If you like smoothies, you could drink one with your breakfast or lunch, it tastes nice even when the meal is savory. Or you just have a smoothie in the afternoon as a snack.
Another thing I like to do is have some fruits, maybe with Greek yogurt, as a dessert in the evening.
Abbey, love how much information you give and really appreciate your respect for these people who have no respect for themselves. You do you extremely well.
I’m so glad you mentioned the dangers of overtraining! A few years ago my best friend started doing intense workouts for an hour every single day and along with dieting she lost a lot of weight which she was very proud of and made her feel good. However, after a while of these daily workouts the lymph nodes in her neck got really swollen and she had some flu symptoms. The doctor discovered that she was exercising too much to the point that she started to get sick!! Later I also learned that she has always struggled with disordered eating and was eating disorderly along with her intense workouts. I never knew that you could workout too much until she got those swollen lymph nodes!!
😢
How did she recover?
Lol “raw milk is bad”, Eastern Europeans would like to have a word with you
Yes!!!
also just wanted to say one thing about those skinny vacation pictures that a lot of us dream about, eehhhhh, I’ve learned those pics cause me mental damage honestly, because the compliments come rolling in and I know what I had to do to look like that, also my body goes into a panic at some point after the trip and I gain the weight back, then I’m looking at the pics thinking “I don’t even look like the pics now” (obviously you still look like the pics, but ya know) it just starts a cycle of bad mindset, I like the pics that don’t hold those memories better ❤️ , authentic happy times not “omg I dieted so hard for that pic”
overworking out is no good, I became obsessed with the amount of calories I was burning and my face honestly started sagging from the cardio/non stop walking/being just soooo tired. rest is SO important we must listen to our bodies. eat the bread with the salad. Take the rest day!! I’ve tried to slim down before vacations and always just end up getting drunk and binging on the trip, then the digestive system is REAL MAD ha
I’d love to see a video on the famous Mediterranean diet or diet of the Blue Zones and how we can realistically incorporate this into our lives
Would you review Liz Seibert? She’s shared a new diet she’s on, noting her cheese and milk comes from the Amish and is unpasteurized therefore the only digestible dairy her body will tolerate. Her diet also includes meat, eggs, and animal fats along with a lot of supplements. There’s a lot of people saying it’s not healthy, but she claims she’s working with professionals closely while following this diet. Curious to know your thoughts/hear your perspective, Abby. Thanks!
this was posted a month ago but i just wanna say that when I found your channel you gave me a different perspective on food. TW
I had an eating disorder last year and going into this new year also still had it. I started to recover a little bit more in March but I still wasn’t eating enough probably until June or even July. I ended up losing my menstrual cycle because I believe I wasn’t eating enough calories for my body to produce estrogen. I took a blood test for my doctor and turns out my estrogen was very low at that time. I’m trying to get my period back and have a healthy relationship with food. I haven’t been going to the gym because I’m worried about over exercising since I also have cheer 3-4 times a week but I end up feeling guilty when I eat a normal amount without working out. Any tips?
my low salt diet makes me pretty unhappy but it's required by my doctor for my hypertension. that said, when I feel like having more salt I increase water intake from multiple sources.

Okay I’m speaking from experience when I say my cousin had severe eczema ever since she was a baby. It was absolutely horrible seeing her in so much pain. My aunt tried everything and nothing worked. I am so nostalgic about "Dietitian Reacts". Just plain ol' Dietitian Reacts.
In an early video you recommended chickpea pasta?
I normally don’t comment on videos but I just feel like I finally need to say it because it has been bothering me for a while now. Firstly, I want to say that I really like your videos and you have really helped me to not view food as bad or good. But secondly I wanted to say that I really don’t like the thumbnails of the videos sorely because of the bodies of the people you comment on. They are always skinny and even though you often have negative views on the diet of the person the thumbnail is just kind of misleading in my opinion. I don’t really know how to say it because English is not my first language but I hope I got the point across. :)
I agree! I love Abbey’s videos and they’re always so informative but I wish they wouldn’t include the body shots in the thumbnail.

Then she did talk about eating only a bite of the bread, but then ate a cup of rice and had pasta for dinner. Lots of protein in the chicken, the ground beef, and even the whole milk and pasta. This was a very reasonable day of eating for me.
Also ... side note on almond milk: it's terrible for the environment.
Good grief! How does she stick to all these food rules 😒😒.

I wouldn’t drink Raw Milk in Australia either. Not sure which countries you think have better food standard, that would then remove the risk of consuming raw milk. There are cold press processes that can allow for raw milk to be pasteurised but that’s the only time I’d consider it safe to consume.
@@danib022 Austria here. i have been getting raw milk from local farmers for decades. but yeah you cant buy it from supermarkets here either.
when she glared at her bf for coughing off camera lmaooo
Is she still obsessed by "burning of the slice of bread right after eating it"?
She kinda did that with the rice
@@sofsings101there's a difference between eating something and wanting to "burn it of" and fueling your body before a workout. For me it seams, in this video, like she just wanted to fuel her body like Abby explained.
Wait does whole milk automatically mean raw milk ? I thought whole milk just meant higher in fat.
No, raw milk is unpasteurised
I wish you would listen to your MOUNTAINS of comments and dms criticizing you for putting people body checks as thumbnails while claiming to not participate in diet culture
