I have always wanted to hear a live version of this song and I finally heard it today. What I was not expecting was for the live recording to be so much better than the actual recording of Loving You. Minnie Riperton was a true incredible gifted singer. I guess God wanted to have her all to himself because that voice belongs in heaven. God Bless Your Soul Minnie Riperton.

I'm a singer but I do not have that register. A voice coach once told me that I was whispering but I didn't hear it. I used to sing it to my husband when we were dating but I could not hit those high notes. Minnie truly is a rare treasure!
