- Edelbrock B4-B Intake Manifold Install Buick 455 stage 1
It's time to install the new intake for the stage 1 455 build. Before I install it I need to port match it, clean up some manufacturing flaws and plug off some unused ports. Then I can block off the exhaust cross over and get this thing on the engine.

good stuff thanks. Im working on a 73 riviera. pistons with less DISH seem difficult to find, without spending $700.00, im sure i could put chevy parts and alter the crank but the cost! any ideas would be great?
unfortunately there are very few options out there. you can get 70s spec pistons for around 500 bucks from ta performance but if your gonna spend the cash you might as well get the flat tops for 700ish in my opinion. only other option would be to find used stuff but that's a big gamble. I'm planning on going to the flat tops eventually. I'll post the build on the channel. It won't be soon though, I got a lot of projects ahead of it currently.

Hey is there a reason you went with the 2515 intake instead of the 2146 edelbrock intake. I’m looking to replace mine in my 72 Buick Riviera GS. Any insight will gladly help appreciate it in advance
Yep, the difference is the 2515 B4-B intake centers the carb over the engine giving it better and more efficient fuel delivery. It delivers the most performance for your money. the 2146 intake keeps the carb in the stock location so that the stock air cleaner on a 70s gs will still fit under the hood and function properly. downside is you give up some performance. I'm not sure how much performance is really gained or lost over it. Basically it comes down to if you want to run the stock air cleaner go with the 2146, if not get the B4-B and grab every once of performance you can for your money!
