Grew up with Falcons in our driveway. Sad to see them go but they just werent selling them in big numbers any more. Got a BF Boss tucked away in my garage for nostalgia's sake..
4.17 ive only got a eb fairmont with a modified 351 cleveland, ive only had it up to 250 kph then i didnt want to go faster because of the bumps, it only done a burn out that lasted around a minute and both tires were ready to pop
XE was my favorite. Had one for six years. 3,3 4 - spd. Up hills , had to throw her back to second to get her moving.....but it was all good fun. Died of rust far too soon. Comfortable with good heater. A great open road car.
I own 2 Utes now, a 2000 AU2 Falcon Ute and a 2015 FG-X Falcon Ute. I'm holding on to both for dear life. I'll buy more if I can, I really want a F6 Typhoon.
I’m so sad that the falcons and the commodore are not being made anymore I’m a big Ford fan and so is my Dad and Dad has been into falcons since he was a kid. His family owned all Falcons my Dads dad owned 7 falcons firstly the XB and the XC XE EA AU and then his last falcon a BA falcon XR6 turbo god I miss falcons already I wish Ford didn’t stop making them sad time for Ford indeed my Dad is obsessed with Fords and he has a huge collection of falcon projects he has a XD Fairmont Ghia and a XD ESP falcon wagon in the paddock and a XD falcon sedan and a green XD falcon wagon next to his shed and he has a Club XP falcon wagon that is on H plates its all original but beautiful and has a lot of character and history got it from a old guy in his 90s up at Tilba and it’s now on the road and it’s been to the early falcon nationals in Victoria and in his shed he has the shell of a XM falcon coupe which is his absolute dream car and he really wants it restored and on the road and he had a XF falcon panelvan which he sold and he has garden art which is a XK Ute and he had a XK falcon sedan for a few years which he regretted selling he is a big falcon fan.
From the mid 80s, after a Telstar, I had a XE 4.1, XF 4.0 ute, EB4.0, BA XR6, the six-packs were great, I never felt the need for the V8s, The Falcon was larger and superior to the Holdens of the era, and had more progressive engineering by far.
It's a disgrace that Ford canned the Falcon and seized Australian manufacturing. My family owns 3 Falcons, a BA Falcon ute, a BF Falcon ute, both with the mighty BARRA 4.0 inline six (the Barra powered the BA series through to the final series XR6 Sprint- FG-X) and a 78 XC Falcon 500 sedan with a 4.1L (250 cubic inch) crossflow inline six. I still believe that if Ford had made modern versions of the classics, that the Falcon name would still be alive today. Just imagine a Falcon styled to look like an early Falcon- Say an Xb but with all modern components.
unfortunatly this video took the piss out of every falcon owner, its nor a car, its a family tree, i've owned a falcon from XF onwards, and what killed us is the american idea of what a car is, i'd love to see what happens if we took the mustangs away from the US
0,45 wheres this head stone mate? youre one? lol, thats a really badly coloured description of the end of the falcon, it just meens they dont make them any more but do you know how many are out there?

I had a 3.3 4 spd XD back in the eighties
Mine went up hills no worries in 4th gear
That is a 2016 FG-X XR8 Sprint* not a bloody 2014 FG-X

I reckon they got rid of the Holden and Ford because they wouldn’t bring out a Electric Model... I don’t know that’s my thinking!! 🧐🧐🧐🧐🤨🤨
Why is richard hadlee doing this?
I rode a 86 in Perth in 1987.
I really miss our car industry 😞

All Croatian Aussies lol ???
Another reason why the Falcon has died, the Ford Mustang became a world car in 2015 so Aussie Ford doesn't need to sell falcons anymore
The xd was going to be the last v8 powered falcon but ford lost market to gmh ,it took them a few years to get their act back into gear,
The thing l will miss most about no more Ford Falcon's. Is driving down the freeway on a hot day and seeing them on the side with their bonnets up
Next to the broken down rusty holdens
Hehe
And what did Max drive? Time to change your moniker
Title should read "Ford Falcon XK to FG:" not "Ford Falcon XY to FG:".
Where is the AU not happy wheels you could have show the Ford AU it was also a great car 😡🤬
